College Football Talk
purdu is looking like a team to beat this year I watched them play noter dame got a great qb possible heisem winner this year
Penn State is hangoing tough tonight though. Also, they had a guy call in on local radio and he gave several very good reasons why Perdu might lose.
Another year..another loss to Michigan :(
2 years in row that the Gophers have lost heartbreakers to the Wolverines.
Burning those 2 timeouts may have cost you the game.

As disappointing as the loss was, there's really no shame in losing to Michigan at the big house. I hope they don't drop too much in the polls because of it.

Wow, nobody knows how to spell Purdue, it's not that hard especially if you like them. Anyway, I see them being one of the top teams towards the end of the Big 10 season.

I'm glad Minn isn't on tv today, becuase I'd have put my fist through it by now. Losing 10-31 at the half. Michigan is losing to Illinois 10-17.

Lets got Kansas State, I can't stand Oklahoma, I hope the lose today, damn overrated team should not have been playing for the national title.
They're on ESPN here, and they're getting their ass handed to them by MSU 44-17.
They were supposed to be on ESPN here too, but for some reason Ohio and Toledo was on. Maybe living in MN they assumed I would want to watch Toledo.

Good 2nd half performance by the Wolverines.
Next week's game at Purdue should be great.

What happened to the Gophers??
Just like last season lose a heartbreaker to Michigan and then get beat the next week by State.

Hahaha, In Ohio, they always assumed I wanted to watch OSU, which I did. It was always on some channel.

 ABC switched from the Ohio State-Iowa game to Texas-Mizzou.
The Hawkeyes were putting on a clinic and will drop the Buckeyes to an 0-3 Big Ten start.

Looks like I'll watch the rest of the Purdue-Wisconsin game now.
Purdue game is a great game so far they are my pick for the #1 team when all said and done
You need to make another pick. They just blew the game. Orton certainly didn't play like a heisman canidate today now did he? It's like I said all along it will depend on how he stands up to a hard nose, tough defense.

I must say, as someone who once attended Florida State, I find it contenting that Florida lost to Mississippi State!

They're one of the worst if not the worst offense teams in Division I football!

I mean, they had no business losing that game.

In other news, while I didn't see the games I heard that Penn State got owned. They played so poorly that the local sports radio analyst considered it one of the worst defeats in their history. The game ended up being 6-4. Iowa GAVE them two safeties.

Did ANY of you see the pass interference on the last play of the Florida State Game against Wake Forest.

Wake forest is down by a field goal with six seconds left and they trhow a hail mary to the endzone. But a Florida State defender clearly pushed a Wake Forest receiver outof bounds on the left sideline around the 30. He did it just as the ball was released and he was streaking towardds the endzone. Yet there was no call!

Leek should play for the Yankees, he was Chokerific today. I wonder if www.bringbackspurier.com is taken

A potential BCS buster, Boise State, is on ESPN 2 later tonight. I always like watching their home games on the blue turf.

Minn won today, so they still got a good shot at a bowl game.

Ron Zook and his team are in deep shit.
