Command & Conquer Generals Request

I loved the old Command & Conquer games. I just read a review for this game and it got good ratings. The deluxe edition which comes with the expansion is listed at $29.99, I am just wondering if anyone has a deal for it. :lol:

in some places like walmart they go for 9.99 each.. Im a CNC fan myself..its a very visually impressive game. I wish they would hurry up and pump out the next CNC game, its been too long since the last one.

Firestorm, and it's already out.

They made it into an expansion pack.


There might not be any C&C games for a while, EA really messed it up when they raped Westwood.

I really liked C&C1 and then RA was cool... then I played StarCraft and C&C just couldn't compete anymore. There is ONE function in SC that makes C&C practically unplayable. That is: Attack-move. In SC you can attack move and your guys will attack anything they come near. In C&C they would walk right by bad guys, sometimes not even fighting back when attacked.

they added attack move in generals, but it's still not as good as warcraft's or starcraft's.

Yeah, I have TS and Firestorm and I beat them both. I really liked them because everything was so futuristic and the units were so unique and badass.

But you were probably right about not getting another C&C. ing EA....

And for that alone they deserve the noose. I mean really what excuse to you have for killing off a program with 1 failed game?

i have no idea why Westwood allowed themselves to be taken over by EA Games. Generals was a cool concept but SHOULD NEVER HAD THE CNC title attached to it period. We are overdue for another Tiberium game as the first came out in 95, then the sequel in 99 so 4 years between. Tiberium Twilite should have been in 2003, but instead we got generals :| Still no word on RA3..but we do need to complete the Tiberium trilogy once and for all. Unfortunitly when EA killed off westwood, they shot themselves in the foot. MY guess is that EA doesn't know how to handle the CNC franchise without westwood's core team

However we know that the new SW:Empire at war game is going rock as its in the hand of the westwood vets! It should have been a concidered a sequel of REBELLION.

First quarter 2006 needs to get here quick.
