Comp USA in Totowa, NJ getting the axe

Comp USA is closing quite a few of its stores - including the one on Rt46 in Totowa (I'm pretty sure it's Totowa... the one by Guitar Center across from Bob's Discount Furniture).

Haven't checked out to see if things are on clearance just yet, but I might swing by after work today. Not sure when they'll officially be shutting their doors - but if you check compusa.com the store is no longer listed in their directory.

Just a heads up.

There are a load of stores closing if the website is accurate. I say we have Dirty Jerz CAG roadtrip to all the stores once we know they are definitely having a clearance.

im not expecting much, but ill report back here when i get back :)
 
I just drove past the Paramus NJ and there was a guy with a sign outside that said 20% off. Time to start checking for deals in your area.
 
freehold CompUSA lots of things 20% off, all gaming hardware and software 10% off. I just bought a 360 there, only thing is... all sales are final(obviously)
 
I stopped by the Comp USA on RT46 in Parsippany(?) over the weekend. Games were a mere 10% off - though the prices of the games looked like they haven't been adjusted in 6 months.

Will keep an eye out. I'd really like to pick up a few cheap laptop cooling pads to use for my 360 :)

This would be my comp usa. Let me know if you see any good deals, I want to check it out but sounds like not enough discount yet.

I'm in the market for a new TV, I forget, do they sell televisions at Comp USA?
 
I'll keep you posted Mr Unoriginal... I do beleive they had TVs there at Comp USA, but I didn't look too closely at the deals.
 
I haven't stopped in there yet... I'm guessing it's the standard 10% off like other Comp stores. Last time I was in there they did seem to have a nice stockpile of games, so it might be worthwhile to keep tabs on the store for deeper discounts as their closing date gets closer.
 
its nothing special..its 10% off. compUSA sucks, especially the totowa one. bunch of stupid people working there.
