Complaint against Gamestop online/sent me a resealed game as new

I don't need a discount on a display copy. Frankly, it's the same thing. As long as there is some sort of guarantee that it will function properly, that's what is important.

yea this happedned to me at my local gamestop I was looking for Shadow Hearts 2. So the manager tells me they have a last display copy, and it's never been played, used etc. I said no kindly and try to look at another gamestop. So I reply to the manager that the game is getting kind of rare and I prefer sealed games and the manager replies "that's contrary belief, I fire people for that"

That's insane it happened mail order, there's no excuse.

The display case with *NEW* disc in stores is going to happen until the publishers start sending the stores display cases, or they go to a card display type system like TRU used to have.

Usually I don't mind that so much, as long as they look new. But please stop putting the stupid "OMG TEH NEW" sticker on the cases, those sometimes stick worse than the price tag. I guess that's to fool me into thinking the display case and disc I just got are infact "New", I mean, even the sticker on the front says it's NEW!

Last game I got like that, I took right back to EB. As I was walking away from the store, I looked at the game they got from the case, this time it was supposed to be a gift. I took it straight back, the display sheet inside the case looked like someone took it out of their pocket, unwadded it, and put it back in the case.

Sorry, got off topic. :)
But yeah, from mail order, there is no excuse for that at all.
