looks good to me, but is it too good to be true?

Pricey, considering it consists of older technology. If you don't want to go the route of putting it together yourself, I would sign up for dell home coupons, watch the hot deal forums on other sites, & wait for a much better deal.

You can get so much better.

I squeezed out a AMD 64 3000+, 80 gb, dvd-rw, nvidia 6600gt, lighting, other stuff + keyboard/mouse etc. for $780.

it is ok, but go to www.newegg.com and you can build one for much cheaper. get a better video card. you could easily build the same PC with a 6600gt for around the same price. or go with the 6800
yall were right, im building it with a better video card for about 750

thanks!
try an AMD CPU. much better for gaming IMO. go with a 6600gt at the very least. try for a 6800 or better.
