Condemned for PC... incredibly small print run?

I was surprised yesterday when my Gamestop of choice didn't get Condemned in for the PC yesterday, since I was going to pick it up. After coming home and looking at the locator, it seems only a very small handful of stores in a 40 mile radius even got the game in, while the rest weren't expecting copies.

Best Buy dosen't list it on their website at all, which is a bad sign.

Did Sega not put alot of these out for some reason? Was going to get it eventually, but if its going to be impossible to find I'll just grab it now.
 
I didn't even know this was coming out for the PC. Good to know I will pick this up for the computer, no need to wait til I get a 360 someday.

Yea, apparently it was set for a May release, and got pushed up and released very under the radar.
 
I knew a few people were interested in this... any one know what store's are carrying it? I'm batting 0 for 3 so far =/
 
I guess I gotta go and look for a copy as well. I figured I could wait like you, but now that it is already hard to find I guess I better go ahead and nab it
 
Hmm 1-3 in stock at largo mall gamestop and 1-3 in stock at tyrone mall ebgames. Those are coincidentally the only gamestop/ebgames I visit for the most part

They are both the shittiest ones in the city, coincendentally, and probably why the only reason I didn't go there to pick it up, since both stores are shady (the Largo GS espically).

Was hoping Best Buy would have it but it was MIA at their store.

I could just order it online, but shipping + tax is a killer.

CC has it in stock on their website but I'll be damned if I could find it in their store. Needle in a haystack definately. I was hoping this would kind of slide down in price, like most console --> PC ports, but I don't think it'll be around long enough for it.

CompUSA has free shipping today, and seems to carry it. That's an option.
 
have you asked someone at best buy to look it up in their computer? sometimes they get things shipped in slow if they think there is going to be low demand (for example DoD:S did not come out at BB for 4 or 5 days after it hit the street)

Amazon has the DVD-Rom version for $40 shipped I think, at least it was there on Friday when I was looking for Blazing Angels.
 
wow, this is hella good news... i thoguht sega canned the pc game condemned. This game was the only reason I ever wanted a 360, now I dont have to buy one :)

You know whats funny? Sega has done this three times that I can count and you guys fall for it everytime.

Majesco does it too.

Dont fret, it will come out with enough... this is a tactic to boost reserves.

Should have ordered it online for instore pick via CC so when they couldn't find it within 24 mins you would get a $24 gift card, rinse/repeat under different names.

Ahh, nothing like slaughtering addicts to make the day bright. Seriously, though, the demo for Condemned is off the hook. Not to be missed. I just got my PC version last night and so far I am not at all disappointed.

CC dosen't allow games, dvd's, and music to be ordered online for in-store pickup to avoid this.

Best Buy told me their computers have a date of May 3rd to get this.

what graphics card are you using to play this? Im using an x800pro and am looking upgrade to a pci-e card. Any suggestions?

Well, I'm a bit of an idiot when it comes to specs - my girlfriend is a genius at the stuff so I let her take care of it all, and she's the one that set me up for gaming (role reversal, yay!). But I am using a Radeon X1900 series and she tells me it's top of the line and a good suggestion, so, yeah. All I know is it rocks them Condemned enviros hard.
 
Ha Ha! I finally got my copy of Condemned for PC. This game is seriously f'd up. I love it! So many weapons, lovely weapons. I just ripped a locker door off its hinges and bashed some drugged derelicts to death with it. I love the "FPS - but no ammo" genre.

christ.... isnt that card over 400 dollars? Thats not something I wanna spend to play only a few games. I mean, I spent 400 bucks on my whole pc! amd x2 3800+, gig of ram, 250 gb hd... yea, it was a gateway.

I play more than a few games. Also, that's what I spend my money on, tech toys and stuff. I like being able to do anything with my computer that I want. Also, I pull in a decent salary, so $400 isn't really all that much for me. I'm a nutrition consultant.

I finished Condemned over the weekend, am playing it again now.

yea.... see, my pushing gallons of milk forward and facing shit at the local grocery store doesnt allow me to live such a lavish lifestyle, lol. I wish I could, but cant :(. On a plus side, this game looks superb at 1600x1200 mode on my new x800gto2 oc's... Im happy, and the game actually makes me jump at times when playing i nthe wee hrs of hte night in a pitch black room. A+ quality game already, and I am highly anticipating a sequel!!
