Connection problem with my Belkin F5D7230-4 wireless router

The wireless connection shuts off on my Macbook. I setup security and the next day the security goes off by itself. I tried WPA and WEP,but the problems keep showing up.I can’t even update the firmware.All my connections are right and the router lights up like it should. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you using a regular ethernet cable instead of wireless?

I have a similar problem with my Belkin router, which isn't that exact model, but close. I ended up just turning my security off completely, since I live out in the middle of nowhere, and I am not worried about that kinda stuff.

However, all I have to say is that Belkin routers suck dick, and you should probably just get a different router.

I'm using all the cables that came with my router and modem.The cd that came with the router shows that everything is hooked up right.I reset the router about eight times,but it's still not working. I'm going to hook up this Linksys router that my sister gave me.

Also have connection issues with the same router. Going to pick up a new one soon. I'll second the fact that belkin sucks.
