CONTEST: Achievement Point Trivia (CLOSED)

TinyTechnician

CAG Veteran
Achievement Point Trivia is available now on the App store and to celebrate I'm giving out 5 free promo codes to members of the CAG community...because of course...free is the right price for Cheap Ass Gamers.

OK, a little info on the App (blah blah blah)...then contest rules at the end.

Are you a gamer Junky on the Xbox 360? Does the mere mention of your Gamerscore cause jaws to drop? Your knowledge of games probably surpasses that of the most Elite gamers, but what about your knowledge of Achievement Points?

Prove how much of an Achievement Point Wh...Master you are by testing your knowledge of Achievement Points themselves!

OK, now onto the contest.

Just list the name your favorite Xbox 360 Achievement (along with the Game it came from) here in this thread and you're entered into the contest.

I'll randomly pick 5 people to get a free promo code for APT and that's it.

Thanks for taking the time to read this long-ass thread and goodluck!

Eat Lead: Return of Matt Hazard

Multiplayer Master! 30 GS

"What? No multiplayer? Sigh. Well...not like we can take the achievement back NOW...."

hands down, "Mile High Club" for COD4. I spent hours trying to beat that. One day, after a 4 hour grind, I finally beat it. I was so proud.

This looks cool -- too bad I don't have anything to play it on. Any plans to release a version on Xbox Live Indie Games? It would find a nice home there.

Mine oddly enough is Shadowrun as well, that game was amazing.

But yeah mine would be 'Master Ninja' - cause 100 mortal wounds. That was so fun to do in the game and I had a class designed specifically for that, to the point where I pretty much only needed myself to wipe out entire teams... oh the hours I have put into that game...
Press START to play/easiest achievement...ever -the simpsons
You get the Fairy Godmother one in Chime for just running the game, don't even have to press anything.

Yeah, originally wanted to make a XBLA version...so you could get Achievement Points for knowing about Achievement Points...and then a black hole would open up for getting Achievements for knowing about Achievements...

It could still happen, the App development environment was just easier to develop and distribute on (and within my budget) :)

Rock Band 2:
The Bladder of Steel Award
Completed the Endless Setlist 2 without pausing or failing.

(82 songs, More than 6H and no way to cheat)

Alan, Wake up - Alan Wake.

Like the gunless wonder in the same game, trying to get this achievement really changed the game for me when it comes to enemy encounters. No longer are you given enough ammo or time to take them all on, so I really had to pick my battles and it becomes more about survival. Personally the nightmare difficulty really enhanced the overall experience.
Would love to play this on Android OS.....
Really now...(google's android app development)

Eat Lead - Peekaboo ... I shot you
Get 50 Sniper Rifle kills. "Zoom, pow! Right to the moon."

and

Dark Sector - Double Decap Latte
Two Decapitations In One Shot

I really liked some of the achievements in Alien Hominid.
My favorite though would be:

WMD

Reach 5000 Km in Super Soviet Missile Mastar.

Hell Yeah!!!

Kotaku did an article on Achievement Point Trivia!!

http://kotaku.com/5558911/ill-take-achievement-trivia-for-500-thanks

They are like the Holy Grail of gaming sites!

OK fingers...stop being all freakin excited and type DAM you!

So what I wanted to mention here in this thread was that the Kotaku people, being awesome, didn't even ask for promo codes. I had set aside a batch specifically for them and well I guess they didn't need them :)

So I was going to throw that batch in with the free promo codes here for the CAG community. So now there's 15 codes up for grabs. If you know anyone who might like APT tell them to hit up this thread and there's a good chance to snag a free code.

Thanks everyone for your responses btw :)
