I just bought a PS3 and I'm having controller issues. The PS3 will sometimes detect button presses, such as "up" on the directional pad, and the triangle button, when I'm not even holding the controller. I've also had the controller disconnect on me for no reason. I checked ALL the wireless devices near the PS3 and turned them all off, didn't make any difference at all. I tried hitting the reset button on the back of the controller, no luck. Even tried switching the ports, the only thing that fixed it was hooking it up with the usb cable, but I didn't buy a PS3 for it to have defects. Should I just exchange it for another PS3? I'm very paranoid that I'll just be getting another defective unit, and I don't know what the percentage of the userbase is that have this problem.
