i was wondering if they still are making the larger of the xbox controllers at retail stores. i haven't seen one for a long time and i happened to enjoy those a little more than the smaller ones. any information will be helpful

Someone had a thread about this in the auction forums. They were going for $60 on Ebay or something outregeous like that. Others mentioned they could still be found at obscure retail outlets. They are no longer being produced.
 
No, they quit making them. And actually, factory sealed original XBOX controllers sell quite nicely on eBay. But chances are, you won't find a retailer with any. They quit making them a good while ago. It sucks, I know. :cry:
 
Damn...that's really crazy. I used to like using the boats alot more than the S Controllers, but now that I have my LE Halo Xbox, with the limited edition halo controller, and my other green, skinned S Controller, i like the little ones a lot more. I would NEVER pay more than 30 bucks for a boat, i dont think i'd even pay 25 for one no a days.

They are semi-valuable if they are still factory sealed ($50 or so on eBay). If they are used then not so much ($15 or so on eBay)
 
I only use my DUKE controller. I also have a the HALO LE S-Controller, but never really bothered to use it much. I guess I'm used to the BIG one.

I was thinking of picking up another since I have 3-controllers total.
