UjnHunter - Blu ray is different from HD-DVD. It's better. Holds more. Also, it's blue, which is my favorite color.

It's about what you'd expect from Burton: gothic horror with a sense of humor. I liked it. Plus, this Blu-ray ranks among the best in video quality. Its sense of depth is amazing.

In terms of picture quality, nope.

This has been at this price since pre holidays, although it still is a decent deal. Lots of singing in this movie so if you don't like musicals you may not like it. My kids love it though.
