So, NewEgg had a $13 off deal on Skyrim, so I jumped on it. I now see that this means I won't be getting them game on 11/11/11, which kinda sucks because I was lucky enough to get Skyrim Day off.
My Question: If I drop by Walmart, Best Buy, Gamestop, etc., and buy a copy of Skyrim at midnight - could I return the copy NewEgg is sending me to that retailer for a full refund?
If so I'd be getting the best of both worlds, essentially getting around Amazon's lucrative release day delivery (which I totally should have gone with) while still saving cash.
As far as I can tell, there'd by no way for them to tell the difference. If I do it from Walmart, I probably wouldn't even be making an extra trip.
