Could nobody think of a better OTT?

Good points all around dallow, but plasma was the good choice for me. They say burn in isn't much of a problem after the first so many hours but I do get antsy if I have 4:3 stuff up for a while. I'll stretch it out from time to time just to be safe.

So I picked up some free monitors that were being given away from this tech company in town. Dont need them at all, but the price was right.

Some of them have these 5 rows of inputs labeled r,g,b,h/h+v,v

Any one know what thats all about?

Are you using the guide for all the ship pieces and those gems, Rocko?

Guide doesn't really help with ship pieces, but I am using it for some of the gems.

I like :baby: mode. I'm not like following the guide to a T, though.

At the price of the 60" RP SXRD, I could get a 42" LCD.

With AVS tweaks, the RP looks even better than LCD too, I just can't hang it on the wall.

The TV is small too. I think like 90lbs.

Ship parts are mostly gotten through minigames and trading. Still plan on getting all the Gems, but life finally caught up to me after I got the gold ship parts.

Any one know what thats all about?[/quote]That's old-style RGB inputs, which were used before component became the better way to do it. They should be BNC connectors, and you can find VGA to BNC cables out there, like this one:

In fact, it borders on unnecessary.[/quote]I'm giving some thought to getting a 52-56" 120hz 1080p LCD when the basement gets done and furnished, then move my 37" LCD into the bedroom, and move the 26" from the bedroom elsewhere. That's assuming I'm not beheaded for bringing up such things. :D

Just get that triple. Honestly, there are more Blu Ray movies out there worth watching IMO and the Blu Ray format has really been winning the battle as far as consumers go.

The HD drive is nice, but I wouldn't have gotten it before I got that triple.

Yeah, once I finish the game I'm going to use the cannon minigame to try for ship pieces. Haven't tried trading yet.

I hate the arrow minigame. I can't get the big prize on that, and I also can't find that dumbass swordfish to complete the little fishing quest.

How did you get all the gold ship parts? I only have one, from salvaging an area revealed by a treasure map.

Had I not picked it up then, I'd be all over this deal. There's enough out there that's HD-DVD only that it's worth having something. This was the cheap point of entry for now.

And around the time the current promotion ends at the end of Feb, I'll go and pick up a stand-alone player and sell the 360 drive.

Yes, the successors to the 3000 series are due sometime early next year, though Sony has kept hush.

But the 2020 series came out last March, and the 3000 series came out like 2-3 months ago!

Haha, I've done it about 3 times and each time I didn't feel much.
Might of been because I was high already though.
