Couple of decent EB deals

Due to a couple of games being massively traded in (thanks blockbuster) EB has killed the price of one such game.

LOTR BOME II for the Xbox 360 is 4.99 used. So is Marvel Ultimate Alliance Gold Edition(I am assuming the regular edition is too, Which I'm totally grabbing for a friend or two as a christmas gift). Edge card means 4.49.

Theres probably more so I'd try scanning a few to see what comes up.Just look for games that were overly abused at EB trade ins. Also the Hulk 360 dropped to 29.99 New and 24.99 used.

Grabbed me some goodies when I picked up my kingdom hearts today.

Man, those are great deals on Ultimate Alliance and BFME II, both are really awesome games. I'd recommend picking up BFME for the PC if you have one that can handle it, though... it's 9.99 new at FS (at least it was a few months ago), and you can avoid the MASSIVE slowdown that the 360 version has in the later levels of the campaign.

I also saw Vampire Rain (used) also at $4.99 last night. On a "gifts for under $20" rack at the front counter.

That would be worth it if you have played just about every game for the 360. It's really digging to the bottom of the 360 barrel to play that though.

I'll be on the lookout for Ultimate Alliance, always been meaning to pick it up but it's always been a bit more then what I was willing to pay. $5 is the right price point.

I managed to pick up LOTR but sadly neither of the Fredericton EB Games had Marvel UA: Gold.

i found one store that had a copy of the gold editions but the guy there told me it costs 70 bucks, is it the new or used one thats 4.99.

pricetag on MUA was like 19.99/14.99 so I figured I'd scan to see which it actually was (I do this all the time at EB because inconsistent pricing bugs me)They said it was 4.99

Oh and NHL 2K7 is the best controlling hockey game ever made.

I saw Stranglehold for PS3 for $9.99 used. With Edge card, comes out to $8.99. Yeah, I've noticed lately about those clearance bins. Guess they're trying to get rid of a lot of older games. But some other games, like Motorstorm, Turok, or Dark Sector, are still about $24~34 used in those bins.
