Crackdown 2 and Poker Night at the Inventory

Gamewatcher

CAGiversary!
This week, we're stepping it up for Black Friday with an A-list game: Crackdown 2 for Xbox 360, still sealed:

This may be the last big giveaway we can muster without sponsorship, so please enter and tell your friends and family members to enter! We've started to get some attention for the busy gamer movement, let's work together so we all benefit!

And if that's not enough (or you don't have an Xbox 360), we picked up an extra copy of Poker Night at the Inventory for PC and Mac. This includes some cool Team Fortress 2 unlocks and this PAX-exclusive poster:

Learn more on how to enter (you'll need to listen to Busy Gamer Podcast 57 for the Poker Night giveaway, but it's short and features Felicia Day + audio from Crackdown 2):

Just be sure to enter by 6p Pacific on Wednesday, December 1.

Good luck and may Black Friday treat you right (we'll be sitting this one out).

Sorry about the Canada thing - we're barely able to keep these giveaways going as it is! Can't really afford int'l postage or managing the logistics with region coding.

Not many entries - I'm guessing people were focused on Black Friday and missed the chance to win a free sealed game!

Also, folks aren't listening to the podcast (a really good one this week too) and are not entering to win Poker Night at the Inventory correctly. HINT: You need to post a separate comment for it (though bonus entries do double duty).

Some good prizes this week, wondering if these giveaways are worth the cost and effort anymore.

Entered for Crackdown 2 for sure. I'm on the fence about Poker night as I'm not a huge Poker fan. I really hope BGN keeps it up. I love the Podcast and the site.

If we continue to build an audience of busy gamers, basically a really hard to reach segment, two things happen:

1) Game companies will want to market to them (hence, they give us prizes - this has started to happen already, though only a little here and there)

2) Game companies will listen to busy gamer issues (e.g., need for reasonable save points) and design games to better suit the large but largely unheard from segment. We advocate for busy gamers, but the more busy gamers stand behind us and help shape what we request, the more weight it has!

Only today left to enter - so please get those entries in! And help spread the word so we can be all we can be for you!
