Oh my

ing God, seriously, is Craigslist the new Ebay now?
I remember every time a good deal came up on ebay, everyone would go ape nuts about how much of a "scam" it was and how everyone on ebay was out to "scam" you.
Now it's Craigslist.
I've done plenty of deals over Craigslist, never scammed, hell I once was going to buy a PS2 w/ Network Adapter, mem card, 2 controllers and 14 games for 100.00. The guy said "oh wait, I realized I have 41 games, not 14, I'll sell it to you for the same price though".
Guess what, I went home with a PS2 with 41 games for 100.00.
Wanna know something that is a sure-fire scam buster? It's called "human connection". If you talk to the person on the phone and you pick it up in person, it's 99% of the time not a scam. People aren't usually willing to scam when you put a face/voice/actual real life person into the picture...but it's pretty easy to do when all you see is words on a computer screen.
You also have to remember that to most Non-CAG/Internet Savvy users that they will buy a system and not want to hassle with selling it on ebay or anywhere else, and they will trade it in to Gamestop or sell it super cheap just because they need the money.
And my 2 Cents, OP, if you don't have any disposable income at the moment, I really don't think you should be buying video games. You'll come across a good deal in the future, don't worry.
Oh, believe me, I'm a 100% supporter of Craigslist on the whole. I've found a girlfriend, roommates, furniture, and gaming stuff galore on there for amazing prices. However, the reason I've had such good experiences and never gotten screwed over is because I know the scams when I see them. If the entire post said "Xbox 360 Elite-$250", a lot of people would freak out, but it could very well be legit. However, the ones with nothing but specs AND "will ship anywhere" are enormous red flags, at least in these parts.
