Hey talking to a guy on craiglist about trading my mw2 elite for his ps3. Obviously craigslist is a case by case thing but has anyone been murdered by meeting someone from craigslist??

And is the swap decent? This is my back up 360 and im looking for a ps3
 
I say thats a very good trade. I had a xbox 360 slim 250gb i was trying to trade for a ps3 slim, but i ended up selling it and buying a ps3!
 
Go with someone every time. Meet where there is plenty of light and people around. You'll be fine. I've made about 15 or so craigslist transactions and every single one of them turned out fine.

I don't know how you would go about testing to see whether or not the ps3 works except inviting him into your house or vice-versa. When I bought a guitar amp from someone (for like $200) he invited me inside to test it out with his tele and strat . I declined, but he insisted on showing it off to me and I got to see him demo some of the effects before I bought it.

Best thing I could suggest is borrowing a portable tv from a friend and taking it with you.Be glad its not you buying the 360 or you would have to worry about whether or not the console was banned like 90% of all 360's are on craigslist.

Mind telling me where you made the transaction? I've been wanting to pick one up from CL for a while, but I can't think of a place to meet where it'd be safe, and I could possibly test out the equipment.
 
I've done trades at the mall food court as for testing a gaming system many cars have power adaptors which can be used along wit a small 15-18 inch monitor it's work but would keep u from getting burned.
