[quote name='shrike4242']BBB involvement sometimes generates responses quicker than anything else. BB is based in MN, so you'd need to file a complaint with them there.
Worked one out of three times that I actually went through it, once was for a vendor that pulled a bait-and-switch on me. They refunded my money instantly once they were on their case. The other two times were with D-Link over problems I had with them lying to me about what some of their equipment would do, and the other one was for MS not repairing my OG Xbox when I sent in for repair unopened and they sent it back to me unopened and claimed that I opened it.
Want BB's corporate number? I think I have it around somewhere.
Unless they moved:
7601 Penn Avenue S.
Richfield, MN 55423

Think I'll explore that avenue - thanks, Shrike!
I dealt with the BBB over ten years ago when Autonation was putting ads in the paper for thousands of dollars lower than the car cost, and kept claiming it was a printing mistake. I reported them, because they also had phone ads sent up with the bait price, so I included a copy of the tape and sent that to the BBB. Autonation called and kissed my ass big time. The ads stopped.
About three months later, they started with the ads again, so I reported them again. Not surprisingly, Autonation finally went under.
Like you said, I think I will contact the BBB...but it would surprise me if they are used to getting contacted about Best Buy.
