Loved the first one, but I just don't see how this can live up to it. But hey, I think that was Jenna Haze for a split second in the trailer and she makes anything better.
 
I wasn't really looking forward to this until I heard that they were bringing back the doctor from the first one. I can't wait for the inevitable "Oh god , NOT AGAIN!"

Trailer was funny enough. I need to watch the first one again. The first time I saw it I was expecting a serious action movie. I need to go into it knowing that it's more of a spoof of how ridiculous some action movies can be.
 
The first one was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

This trailer looks like it will top that. It's so stupid and nu-metal.
 
Is this movie meant to be taken seriously? Because, by the trailer, it looks like the next in the Date Movie/Epic Movie/Meet the Spartans line of high quality film.
 
the first movie is horrific. the director should be banned from making movies...

it's not as bad as Domino, but close.
 
Its not supposed to be taken seriously. In the first one he's chugging Red Bulls to stay alive. Come on now. I bet there is a paper clip and power outlet scene in this one.

It plays off of how blatantly over the top action movies are. It's not a full blown comedy, but I found the first one rather humorous. Only if you go into it knowing it's not supposed to be serious, though.
 
The first one was so horrible, I'm ashamed to actually own it on DVD. This one looks like they increased the crap factor by 10.
 
The first one was seriously awesome. They better film it in digital so it looks as good as the last one. I just think it's kind of stupid that he came back from the dead, but whatever...

I'm in the crowd that loved the first one (just saw it last week), but I don't think this one will be good based on the trailer.

He was hallucinating from all the drugs he had...maybe the falling from the chopper was a hallucination? Regardless, they said that they will explain how he survived.
 
They need to explain how he lived from that fall but still some of the stuff he does would kill him anyway so a fall like that and him living should not be unexpected. The first one was good but I think overrated. I want to see this one and it should have its funny moments like the last one did.
 
The whole movie is ridiculous and outrageous. It's supposed to be like a video game movie, where that kind of shit can happen.
 
I heard that the way they explain him surviving the fall in the first movie was that he had so much adrenalin going through his system, he supposedly didn't feel the pain from the fall. It's a complete load, but it falls in line with the movie. Can't wait for April.

Normally, hearing that there was going to be a 2nd one I'd say automatic FAIL. Also, normally, seeing a logo like Crank 2 high voltage I'd say EPIC FAIL. After seeing the trailer... EPIC fuckING WIN!!
 
Crank was a great over the top action movie that was so over the top it was considered comedy at some points. This looks just as epic as the first one.

I rather watch that than ever see this, or Crank again. Maybe if I went in with the mindset that it was an over the top, videogame-like very stupid action movie, I might've enjoyed it.
 
Why are there people trying to explain his fall to "death"? It doesn't need to be explained. I don't think you understand crank if you think you need explanations for things. And for the dude who said it was almost as bad as domino...are you serious? Mickey Rourke + Keira Knightley's itty bitties = oscar.
 
Yeah I have to say I liked Domino. It wasn't great but it was good. As for Crank 2 did I see in the trailer them take his hart out still beating and him awake? Then they put in that jarvik artificial heart with him still awake? Now that is win there. So it looks like it is just him running around trying to get his hart back that is still beating in the cooler.

The trailer hasn't be edited at all yet. The picture/sound is going to be shit until they do. The trailer won't look like this in theatres or on TV.
