Crank 2 was awesome. It completely shits all over Crank.

It also solidifies the series as the best thing Statham has been in that wasn't directed by Guy Ritchie

Them movies are shit. I tried to watch Scary Movie at one point and could not stand it. They seem to just make one shit filled movie that is a spoof of all the big movies for the year of that type. Crank just spoofs on over the top action movies and makes a good over the top action movie that is only good because it is shit also. This is how spoofs should be. It is still an action movie but it is still a spoof.

One thing I am wondering now is what was in the cooler?

Crank 1 was great, and I haven't seen C2 yet but will soon, and if it's anything remotely better than C1, it'll be awesome.

I liked the first one better. Some of the camera antics were retarded and in bad taste, like you'd expect out of a student director. Definitely obscenely ridiculous. I thought it was alright, could have been better.

Crank 1 and 2 did the spoof right though. Them other movies are just crap and show you what not to do when doing a spoof. I can see why it didn't do that well. This type of movie only works for some people. They are the ones that can see a movie and not expect much and have a good time watching it. I will be picking this up on BD day one.
 
I haven't seen Crank 2 yet but I'd probably buy it on BR right now if it was out. I already have the first one and LOVE it. Dunno how many times I've see it now.

Comparing a movie you've never seen and know nothing about to Epic Movie and Date Movie is a baseless assumption on the quality of said movie.

I thought about going to see it at the movies but since I enjoyed the first one I think I will wait for the Blu ray and just buy them both at the same time. Hopefully, they will have a Unrated version on DVD and Blu ray.

Yeah, those Crank film critics can be a harsh bunch. I certainly don't want to look like an idiot to them. And most definitely not on a video game forum. Oh no. No way.
 
My favorite part of the movie was deffinatley seeking Chellos as a kid. I did get the impression that they were desperatley trying to find a way to throw in a sex scene and it just seems like they're running out of good ideas for Crank. There's only so many ways you can electrocute someone.

I've seen the first one, is it like that? And for the record, I wasn't comparing it to Date Movie and Epic Movie, I'm well aware it's not a spoof like those movies. I was just pointing out how it's annoying that everytime with action/horror/etc. B-movies, you get people defending it by saying, "It's SUPPOSE to be shit, that's what makes it so good!", or "DUDE, IT'S A PARODY!". It gets old.

As does getting called an idiot on the internet, like that's suppose to make change my opinion, but please, continue.

Well that is good to know. The way movies are nowadays I'm surprised at what they will let through.

I didn't say anything about defending it, people were already making excuses for why it's "suppose" to bad. Do you call everybody's opinion which is different to yours an "attack"?

I saw this movie for the first time Saturday with a bunch of friends. I had never seen the first one and I had no idea what to expect.

In the end, I'm not sure if I liked this movie. I didn't hate it. I admire the inventiveness of the film but I thought this is the kind of movie that will divide audiences in half.
 
I had seen the first one for the most part, so I dove into this movie expecting exactly what I got. A movie that kicks ass and doesn't take its self too seriously. I mean honestly, what other movie has a guy sticking a shot gun up some other dudes ass?
