Crash has won the Best Picture Oscar
They should make a category, "Best Gay Cowboys Eating Pudding" movie. Then Brokeback can win every year.

That is to say, I was not impressed. I think Ang Lee should go back to making "Hulk" movies. I think I'm still the only person who liked that film.
I really dont remember them eating pudding.... I dont get it.

You could of at least said "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".

Wouldn't have made any difference.

I must have missed the pudding scene, too...
I didn't see a single one of the nominated movies.
Me neither... and I probably never will. Outside of Lord of the RIngs I think you have to go back to Forrest Gump for a best picture winner I actually saw in the theater...
Don't worry, I enjoyed it. Of course, I also didn't think Daredevil was awful, and no one agrees with me there.
I've got your back on Daredevil, I enjoyed it, especially the director's cut. I guess people who liked the comic hated it because of the changes. "oh no, Kingpin isn't black, WTF are they doing? Bullseye isn't in a ridiculous outfit. WTF are they doing? Daredevil is in a semi-practical, hard leather suit, WTF are they doing?"

The pudding comment is from south park. I think Cartman says something about art films or independant films are all about gay cowboys sitting around eating pudding.

There was a post here, but it's been removed. Apparently if you don't share the same beliefs as the liberal, politically correct, left, then you are wrong and can't have an opinion at all.
Therefore, I'm wrong and I have no opinion on this topic.
No, I'm not homophobic.

It's not normal, it's sick.
One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong...

I'd also like to take this oppurtunity to point out that I have just about the greatest avatar ever.
The thing about Brokeback Mountain is believability. If one cowboy told another cowboy he was gay, he'd have been killed instantly (rightly so).
Uh, did you even see the movie??? They don't "tell" one another they're gay. Why don't you actually WATCH the film before you make posts like this?

I just watched Crash. I haven't seen the other nominees yet but there is no way that Crash should have been best picture. The movie was just a bunch of stupid, lifeless mannequins whose actions existed only to serve the message of the movie. It's an average movie at best.

That is your opinion, and you are intitled to it. Personally, I loved the film and thought it was well deserving.

I have no idea who Ang Lee is, but if he directed a piece of crap about fruity cowboys, then he doesn't deserve an award or a job as director.
No, I'm not homophobic. They shouldn't exist. Hollywood directors (movies and TV) should quit trying to prove to me just how normal it is to be gay. If it's so normal, and there are so many people who are or at least who accept homosexuals, then why are these people going so far out of the way to SHOW me that it's normal? Answer: It's not normal, it's sick.
Anyone who's got a picture of Lindsay Lohan as their avatar should tread very lightly before making sweeping social pronouncements.

Exactly what I thought.

I should have just stopped at "I won't watch Brokeback Mountain because I don't condone the ideas promoted by the movie." I apologize because I didn't do that. I understand that a CAGer may live that lifestyle and I was not seeking to start a flame war.
