This thread is about the crazy things that you have woken up too.

This happened today and I'm pretty angry. I work the late shift so I go to sleep around 4am and wake up at 11am to get ready to go to work at 1pm. Anyway at 9am this morning I wake up to what sounded like my door being beat down. I open the door to find a police officer asking If I know where Leticia fuentes is(my mom) I tell him that she is at work and he then ask me if she owns a blue kia mini van and I tell him yes. At this point I'm freaking out but still half asleep in a semi dream state, So he tells me that the van was just in a high speed chase with police on the north side of Milwaukee(bad part of town) So I'm thinking my mom is dead or something and that she got car jacked and I'm super worried that my little sister is ok. The police officer has no info and I'm scrambling to remember the phone # to the school my mom teaches at. I call up the school and tell the lady who answers that this is a real life emergency and that I need to speak to my mother NOW and the lady has the nerve to tell me that they cant tell me if she is there or not and that she would have to pass on a message to her to call home. So I wait for my mom to call home which seemed like forever but was only a min or 2. she turns out to be at work and ok. I guess what happened is that a student during home room hour went into a filing cabinet where she keeps her purse while she was helping some other kids with homework and stole here keys. After homeroom he drives off with her car and goes to the north side of town about a half hour away.He comes to a 4way stop when a cop car comes to the other side of the 4 way,he(the thief) waves for them to go first and from what the cops told me"that NEVER happens so we knew something was up" so they attempt to pull him over and he speeds off and they chase this 13 year old kid in a mini van until he slams into the rear end of a parked car at which point he attempts to run. The kid is a fat kid so he gets a few steps out of the car before the police grab him and take him into custody. So I go to pick up my mother at work and the people in charge of the school are telling her the school is not liable for the van and that the best they can do is suspend the kid for a week. A SHAQ-FUing WEEK! At this point I feel like waiting for this kid after school just to beat the SHAQ-FU out of him and go mid-evil on him. What a horrible start to a day.

Tie him up in your basement, blindfold and gag him, only feed him water, and turn him into your mindless slave into a few months. Or just beat the living SHIT out of the little fuck.

Press charges. Altough I don't think you can get much out of a 13 year old. Maybe they'll slap both of his hands.
My hands stained with the blood of my roommates after they continually woke me up while I was trying to sleep...
Eh...they probably deserved it.

As for the craziest thing to wake up to personally, my mom woke me up once to tell me that my cousin Michael shot himself in the leg. That was defintely a "WTF?" moment.

It's kind of sad that waving someone else through an intersection is so suspicous.

Though I would think the fact that he was 13 fucking years old would have tipped them off regardless.

Oooo... I just thought of something. I skipped school 9/11/2001. My mom woke me up to tell me a fucking plane flew into the twin towers... Talk about thinking you're still dreaming.

The cops would think that they dont want their plates read. And It would be hard to tell a persons age across the intersection.

I didn't think of that ... but it still seems a bit sad. No trust in this world, unfortunately with good reason.

Yeah thats probably the craziet thing I have woken up to. I remember turning on the radio while I got dressed and the DJ was telling the listeners to turn on the T.V. Another one was when I visited my friends in Phoenix. I was sleeping in the hallway and I remember opening my eyes and seeing some big bitch (not fat but she was tall and chunky) who I didn't see the day before, standing right by my head. I chouged so that she would know I was there and wouldn't step on me. Stupid bitch almost did anyway.

Recent and not too interesting, but it was quite startling to wake up and see a disembodied hand lying on the pillow next to me. Apparently my mannequin hand from Nintendo arrived, and my boyfriend took the liberty of opening the package and placing the contents next to my freaking head.

Freshman year of college one of the first nights I was there, a cop was arresting some kid right outside my window. I woke up and I could see the lights flashing all around my room and hear his siren going off. My window was open so I could hear him screaming to "Get the fuck down!!!" I thought he was talking to me. I'm really really strange the 30 seconds after I wake up, and this didn't help things.

I once woke up to my friend attempting to convince an extremely fat girl that I was passed out and they should hook up on my room on my roommate's bed (he lives two doors down).

Better still, I once woke up, after a very rowdy night, to a completely trashed room, with two girls sleeping in the bed next to mine...and my straightedge roommate, my straightedge roommate's girlfriend and my straightedge roommate's girlfriend's mother looking over the entire scene.
I would beat the shit out of that kid SO bad that he wouldn't remember who wrecked his ass!
Then sue the hell out parents cause the raised such a bad a$$ kid >_
i woke up in jail once and had no idea how i got there or what the charges were.
Hah hah.

Craziest thing that ever happened to me when getting woken up was when my sister-in-law's teenage sister was killed in a car accident. Very, very tough time.

3am on a Monday morning with 6 OSI agents kicking in your door. Flashlights and guns in my face. Looking for crap and they didn't find a damn thing. Bitches.

Back in college i woke up in a pool floating on a raft, in someones backyard... it scared the shit out of me, i get out of the pool and start walking to the street still really confused as to whats going on.

I walk a couple blocks and i recongize where i'm at. i was at a party the night before and got way to drunk and i'm still clueless as to how i got in the pool. I have a couple more stories of waking up in really wierd places after drinking too much.

hahahaha... one night me and some friends were at a bar and we met steve klein (a pitcher for the orioles, but used to play for the cardinals last year) and he was buying us a ton of drinks. We were gonna go over to Ill. to go to some strips clubs and invited him along, and he said he would show up but we figured he wouldnt really.

We were at the strip club for about 45 minutes and just thought he blew us off and then all of a sudden he walks in, and starts buying us drinks and dances and what not. I dont really remember much after that, all i know is the next morning i woke up in a field in the middle of nowhere. I get up walk around and see my buddy's car so i walk over to it, and everyone we were with that night were passed out in and around the car. Come to find out we were an hour and a half away from where we live... somewhere in the middle of ill. No one remembers how we got there though.

Nice. Free alcohol + strippers = good times to be had by all.

I once woke up next to a girl I've never met, who had a massive smile on her face. Also, I wasn't wearing any pants.

Hah hah, was Klein still with you guys?

waking up to really loud city sirens that sound like from silent hill during the gulf war when i was living in the middle east, my dad got the gasmasks and we watches popples in a small room with sealed everything
Hah hah, was Klein still with you guys?
haha no, but think of the story it would have been if he was with us.

One Sunday morning, right after I got up, I heard a loud crash and then heard somebody saying "help me, help me." I go into my bathroom and there is blood and glass everywhere and a trail of blood leading away from the window. A minute or two later, a cop car shows up and not too long after that there's a knock on my door and the cops want to check my place out. Apparently this guy tripped and fell into my window and cut up his arm really bad when he got up. He then called 911 on his cell phone and walked around the building to the street to wait for help. It all happened so fast, I never even saw what the guy looked like but apparently the cop that showed up saved his life because he was bleeding to death. Thank god I wasn't in the shower when that guy crashed through the window!

How does a guy trip and fall into a window?

today I woke up to discover that my apartment building had a massive gas leak and if I had stayed asleep any longer I probably would not have woken up.
How does a guy trip and fall into a window?
Maybe he fell up?

It was a lower level apartment so the bathroom window was only one or two feet above the sidewalk. It was the day after graduation so I think the guy was stumbling home drunk from a graduation party. I'm still not sure about the whole thing since I never saw it happen and the "Police Beat" report in the paper didn't go into many details.

As far as monetarily the parents are responsible for whatever damages he causes until he's 18. OP you need to keep this updated as to what happens

That's a story you can only tell once in your life. :D

haha it was an interesting night i'll tell you that much. Probably the funniest thing about the night was Klein showed up to the strip club wearing sweat pants and a tshirt... he looked like he just rolled out of bed.
