*Cries* 7 Castlevania DOS at my local TRU. Should I pick one up?

CAGiversary!
Unfortunately they are $35 each, and even if I use a $5 off coupon, that's still $30! CAG has turned me into a true CAG. What would you all do? I never played Castlevania before and was thinking maybe I should just wait for Portrait of Ruin?

If you don't own it, $30 is definately worth it. I thought it was another excellent game boy game. It's difficult to find new, so if you like those kinda games, go for it.

one of the better castlevanias lately, pick this one up for sure. You'll prolly get into DoS and want to pick up the next one (portrait of ruin), which drops this fall. so its good timing anyway

one of the longest lasting single player games with huge great replay value. took me about 20 hours to finally get the chaos ring
Its not rare. No DS games are 'rare' at all, just somewhat hard to find.
I am not so sure about that. I have only seen one copy of this game ever & that was at a TRU.

Must have DS game, definitely pick it up. You could make a decent profit on ebay if you bought some more and sold them there, too. I couldnt find ANY in my area, but ended up finding it used for $27 shipped online and this game is worth twice that.

I bought it $27 used on gtz, you can probably find a similar deal if you look long enough.
if your TRU has 7 of them you can probably safely wait for it to get clearanced out if you're truly CAG
That's what I did at my TRU for the Castlevania Double Pack. Got it for $20 instead of $30.

Can you wait for Portrait of Ruin? If so, just get that...these games usually play the same and its not like they each have amazingly unique stories or plots...but if you're a fan of the series, love the good soundtracks or the fun rpg-esque gameplay, then getting both means you're getting 40-70 hours of goodness.

That said, I will personally wait until Portrait of Ruin because I'm sure it will play very much the same...but be better and have improved upon DoS's weaknesses.
grab all 7. these sell for around $50 shipped on ebay.
My thoughts exactly with the caveat that it would be neat to offer some to CAGs at cost + a little bit more before ebaying them.

I wasnt super impressed by this one it just kind of plops you down , gives you minimal story and leaves you wandering around :/. Its fun enough but its definatly not one of my favorite DS games which is depressing because I was a huge castlevania fan till after the super nes then I got out of handlhelds and such and kind of stopped playing them for a while. Secondly I always wanna play a Belmont in these things not some little twat whos going after cultists because they came after him and his girlfriend once *rolls eyes*. Dunno just didnt feel DoS as much for some reason I guess.

Just beat the game once and get ready for some sweet whip action ;)

actually I did I accidentally beat it getting the worst ending possible heh. I"m still kind of working on it half heartedly to get the better endings while I work on beating partners in time which I think I"m close to finishing as well.
awww damn, coupon said no copies allowed and my printer is not good enough to fool TRU.

i want SOME kind of discount -_-
gaaaaaaargh only in USA

I broke down and bought it today at TRU today when shopping for a birthday present for my nephew. I have been looking for this game for sometime and I never go to TRU. I figured I could always sell it on ebay when I'm done and get most of my $35 back.
