I have bought a few history eBooks on Amazon the last few days and came across "Cruiser: The Life And Loss Of HMAS Perth And Her Crew [Kindle Edition] by Mike Carlton (Author)" for $0.36. Now I can't vouch whether or not this book is any good, but I am willing to take a chance for 36 cents. The book follows the Australian cruiser and her crew through the Second World War for those of you interested.

There is also Pacific Fury by Peter Thompson for the same price, also covers Australian involvement during the Second World War.

There are also two eBooks for $0.63 each by Peter Fitzsimmons.

The first is Mawson: And the Ice Men of the Heroic Age: Scott, Shackleton and Amundsen which covers the mentioned explorers.

As well as Batavia which covers the story of the Batavia, the flagship of the Dutch East India Company. What caught my eye is that every negative review but one was related to the high eBooks price, and for some reason it still states the eBook costs "$22.53" in the version select box after I accidantly clicked on the audiobook option (but still says $0.63 on the actual page).

If anyone knows of some low prices for good ebooks (doesn't have to be history related) I'd definitely appreciate the recommendation.
