Is it legal for them to force you to subscribe to their mailing list when entering a contest? I've seen sites have a check box you could tick to subscribe, and maybe it even started out checked but to have no choice to not subscribe if you want to enter the contest seems out of the ordinary to me.

Heh and to think i just unsubscribed to Newegg's mailing list from the last competition five minutes ago before coming to CAG...

Newegg rocks though and the mailing list stuff they send is pretty useful.
