cs_italy map from counterstrike???

Shot in the dark here but I just have to ask...

So in Counterstrike one of the old base maps was cs_italy. The CTs started at one corner of the map at the end of a street that formed a V basically. The buildings were all white (though in some screenshots I have found online I believe they look more tanish I think in the original map they were pretty white). In between these 2 cobblestone streets that form the V was a 2 story building with balconies and windows and such.

This is basically it but I am picturing it circa like 2002 and I think this iteration must be more like 2007..

Does anyone know what im talking about? Do you have screenshots of the original map?

I am asking because I was in BJs the other day and they had this slideshow of amazing things on their big screen TVs like they always do...and this one picture came up and it was a PHOTOGRAPH of that EXACT intersection of streets and I swear everything looked IDENTICAL to the cs_italy map....not like similar...but identical and it totally freaked me out. Im hoping to find a picture of that cs_italy level as I remember it so I can grab a shot in the store and compare the two.


i know...im crazy....just throwin this out there.

Anyone have screenshots of what I am talking about or has anyone else seen this picture at BJs?

That looks like CS 1.5 or 1.6 before the CZ models were put in place. I don't doubt that parts of it were based on actual places. That's pretty common.

anyways what is preventing you from going into cs 1.6 or something and going into a game with that map?

I remember the map. Had a radio or something too that played opera I think in one starting areas.
