You know, it saddens me that my religion, christianity, is slowly going to hell because of evangilicals and these god **** right wing emo bastards who think they are god's gift to everyone and were sent here by god to do special things (Jack Thompson?)...

Oh, and as soon as something goes wrong, they all want to either make money off you by lying about 'end times', or they want to get together and kill themselves so that they can meet god...

Jesus...

Christianity (At least the right wing side) is quickly becoming a cult. Pretty soon idiots will be getting together to commit suicide so they can be ready for the 'end times' and meet christ. Considering how fucked up today's conservative's are, I wouldn't doubt it.

Wouldn't a good Christian turn the other cheek and love his neighboors, even if they are:

"evangilicals and these god **** right wing emo bastards"?

I think it's pretty much the same for extreme sects of all three monotheistic versions. You don't love and believe in our God (which, ironically, is your God, too) you will burn in hell. But if your Catholic, you can say a few Hail Marys and it'll all be ok.

Listen buddy, I'm sure you think you are pretty bright, but your actions prove otherwise. Despite the fact the House of Yahweh isn't even a reconginzed religion in this country, let alone by any christian religion, but it has little ties to chirstianity besides a belief in Jesus (the "second coming" is actually a convience pretext to their rediculous doomsday predictions I'd guess). If anything it's probably founded more in Judaism, as though the Hebrew title of the cult wasn't a tip there.

So if you want to be stupid and condemn religions based on crazy cults at least be fair enough to spread the hate around, maybe that way you'll seem slightly less biased towards your apparent dislike of things you have little understanding of and it won't seem like you're poorly pandering to your potlicial stance as much either.

Or you could, god forbid, be smart about it and realize THIS IS A CULT and not representitive of the entire christian belief system, chirstians in general, or even conservative christians in general. Think about it, this is same as being like "a group of muslim followers are terriosts, therefore all orthodox muslim followers must be terrorists" or "Aum Shinrikyo was a doomsday cult slightly related to Japanese buddhism, therefore Japanese buddhism must be infected by this crazy doomsday cultist movement right?" Get off the internet and step out into the real world talk to some people, or even just observe, and then see if the billions of chirstians, or even all the conservative christians, have the same attitude and beliefs as a doomsday cult.

Remember that SNL skit about the Heaven's Gate cult, where they all ended up on the UFO - damn that was funny. I remember they had Will Farrell as the cult leader saying stuff like "Yeah it was a long shot, to be honest I'm as surprised as anyone else" and "The aliens couldn't understand the black clothes and white sneakers uniforms, man we were WAY off on that one"

That was pretty damn funny, on a slightly related SNL "doomsday moment" I always loved the skit where they are newcasters and the teleprompter goes out, then they suddenly start acting like the world is over. By the end Will Farrell has killed the weather man (can't remeber who played him), in honor of the "Order of Hand". It's much more hilarious than I can describe it obviously.

But as you can witness from other threads started by this OP as well as this one, that wouldn't fit into his warped worldview that most/all Christians = evil, bad, scary, world-dominating, war-mongering hypocrites.
