I think I'm gonna head over to CC and get Brain Age 2 soon. I hope they aren't sold out. Although I guess if they are I'll grab a flyer and PM somewhere later this week.
 
wubb, it sounds like doing it the quick way to delete a program deletes the title from the name list, though doesn't flag the space used by the program as usable space. Rebooting it via a power-cycle probably has it check that on power-up, then fix the issue in the startup process.

If it's any consolation, I occasionaly have to run a CHKDSK-like process on my Toshiba Tivo with the DVD-R when it has issues burning discs. Sometimes, if there isn't enough free space, or the free space isn't contiguous enough for the temp space needed while burning to DVD, I have to run this CHKDSK-like process on the Tivo. Works all the times I've tried it.
 
Have all the processor prices dropped? I seriously need to build a new computer and can't put up with my mine much longer.
 
What's better, Core 2 Duo, or Core 2 Extreme?
What about Quad cores?

I'm going to bother you guys a lot when I get my case and mobo.
 
Damn! TFN moving on up in the world..err, office! After a week of being on the job one of the attorneys comes in and says ''get your stuff and go upstairs''. Kind of scared I didn't know what to do so I just took a big gulp and said "okay." I go upstairs and I notice the guy who was up there in the office wasn't there and all of his stuff was gone... and guess who took his place?! ME! The attorney told me ''You're not lazy like those other two down there, and we can't fire them cause they're family of the other attorneys and what not.. so.. be good." My own office and everythang, fuck those guys downstairs, I'm moving on up!

Most of my work is on the computer so of course I'll always be on, and I got my own office with the screen facing away from anyones view except mine. WOOT. They also don't check the computers or anything.

More DVR stuff - Also just discovered I can no longer tell it to record show X only at 1:00PM for example. So if it's one of those that replay all the time and I can't record the first run I'm fucked. This is some shoddy programming and really cheeses me off. I had Attack of the Show set to record every day at 1PM so now it's recording the same episode 3 times every day. I guess I'll just cancel the season pass. :bomb:

I'm pretty excited. I just bought a new computer (to replace my 8 year old one that I'm using now). It won't be used for gaming though....mostly 3D artwork stuff. Its a 64 bit Vista system with Xeon processors.

I'm gonna try to work on my Demo reel to see if I can land a job at some place like Pixar. Otherwise, I'll just work on another 3D cartoon.
