Curious about 500 Nintendo Pts card from Best Buy

I received an envelope from Best Buy in the mail today. When I opened it, it contained a New Super Mario Bros Wii 500 Nintendo points card in it. I was very much grateful and surprised to find this in the mail as it was completely unexpected. I don't remember making any purchases there that offered this as a reward.

So the question I pose to my fellow CAG members is - have any of you received the same lately and know why you got it? I'm just curious. Thanks for the time!
 
It was for buying New Super Mario Bros Wii the week it came out. I also got one earlier this week. Did you buy NSMBW from Best Buy around that time?
 
This deal was for Best Buy Gamers Club members only during the week of November 15th, 2009. They finally got around to sending out the cards this week.
 
Wow, I had no clue or clearly didn't remember hearing about that. I did buy it the week it came out from Best Buy. That was an excellent surprise.

Thanks for clearing that up for me!
