Greetings all - anyone know of any current deals on the xbox 360 wireless adapter? The cheapest I saw was amazon for around $75 (which is alot better than $100 msrp), but I'd like to get it cheaper if possible.....

I would recommend the original xbox adapter if your ok with using WEP security as it doesn't support newer WPA / WPA2 encryption. I picked mine up for around $30.

I can second the OG xbox adapter. I used one with my original xbox and continued to use it into the 360 era without any problems ever. Besides that I've seen them on ebay recently selling used for around 40-50ish. Considering how simple they are, it'd be hard to get one that is broken or anything.

$72.97 now on Amazon, $69.32 if in your quick picks. Funny how they put it in my quick picks when I don't want it...

You can use your laptop's built-in wifi if you connect ur 360 to the ethernet port via ethernet cable. If you dont have a laptop, then happy hunting!

I'll sell you mine since I just got wired internet. Message me if interested and how much you're willing to pay.

There's several ways around it so don't break your wallet. I bridged the connection on my pc and directly hardwired my 360 through that and it works just fine. Same thing DustDust said except mine is a desktop

I'll third this. I used one on my 360 from day 1 until I got a HD-DVR receiver and switched it over to the receiver and bought a 360 one for the 360. In my experience, the original worked far better than the 360 does. Especially if you have a HD-DVD drive, I would strongly advise the original adapter, or another semi-wired solution, then the 360 one. You have to connect manually almost every time and the speeds seem slower, not to mention that I routinely, for some reason, get locked out of my own network with it, which I have never once had that problem with either the PS3 or the Wii, or hell, the PSP for that matter.
