Mox, I'll try for DII and Nightmare tomorrow, but no promises. I just remembered I'm donating blood tomorrow, and I have no idea how I'll react since I've never done so before.

That's unlikely though, but when I do get on, assuming I'm not passed out or something, it'll be around 9ish at the earliest, I think.

Too Human is kind of weird.

That is, the gameplay mechanics are strange. I got used to it pretty quickly, but I'm so used to using the right stick to control the camera.

Graphics are shit, though.

I finally got used to the camera controls when the game ended. i dont think i was playing the game right since kiting and shooting the enemies w/ the guns seemed extremely effective. im sure it will have some grand battles but its feels like a buy @ 25-30$ for me.
 
For the record, I have not nor will I buy the Penny Arcade game on principle, free points or not, on account of those two guys being gigantic, $$$$$$s. Seriously, the game plays our like it was written by you know who. I did find the battle system fun so maybe I'll check it out on PC later.

The school sends you your roommate's info ahead of time so you can coordinate what shit you'll both be bringing. You should already have his number in an email or it'll be coming in the mail.

Done with school, still haven't found a job, I ain't got a reason to be up early so here I am. I'm trying to fix my sleep schedule but not tonight since I just got NCAA Football 09.

Some thought of Microsoft's E3 presentation:
  • Who is that speaker? Can he be any more droll...
  • Fallout 3 - Thought it was awesome. I especially like the pausing/tactical feature. Thought the visuals were nice, but could use just a little more polish.
  • Fable 2 - Pretty cool. Like the firends feature, especially if they keep annoying me, I'll can kill thier family.
  • GoW2 - Suprisingly, I thought was the best of the bunch (Wanted that to go to Fallout 3)...definately had the most polish.
  • Why did every game look so 'brown'...I guess it's the new style.
  • Number84 got a kick out of the 'Movie' game.
  • new 'Channels' are just awful...they need to work on that...and fast if they're going to implement it in the fall
  • Avatar's? Oh, come on now!
  • The guy from Guitar Hero looked like he wanted to run and hide.
  • Rock Band 2 list seems cool. But where's Bruce Springsteen?
  • That singer needs to get a life if that was the most excited she's ever been singing her song (which is awful).
  • I like Square-Enix's lineup...but thought the unveiling of FF13 was lame.
  • Morgan Webb has not aged well.

EDIT: Oh, I liked the Too Human Demo...Controlls were wierd at first but got the hang of it. Very polished and I am intrigued bu the story so far. Have a feeling it's going to be a little repetitive, but the customization is astounding.

What makes me :drool: is depending on how many songs you can bring in from the Rock Band 1 base set list, I could have 200+ songs on day one :bouncy:

The funniest thing about MS's press conference yesterday was when the Guitar Hero kept saying things and waiting for applause, but it never came, and then he was just standing there all akward. :lol:

The team race I was in (I just did one) worked out to be very even teams. Could have gone either way.

And yep I had a blast myself. Janet either had an off week last week or she's really improved since. In the one single cup we did I beat her once, but she won the other 3 - and IIRC 2 of them were by good margins.
