I think it's $9.99 at EB. Regardless, the game is definitely good for that price. It's very Gears of War meets Resident Evil 4, but nowhere near as good as the two of those. If you want a game full of mindless violence without anything taxing on the brain, it should be right up your alley. If you're looking to upgrade your weapons as frequently as you did in RE4, be prepared to be shocked by the fact that everything in Dark Sector is painfully expensive. To make matters worse, there's no New Game + feature, so any items you unlock/money you get during the game can't be carried over to another file.

Just picked up a copy myself. Definitely a better deal at Wal-Mart during their boxing week sale as the game will scan at half price ($6). Same price for the PS3 version.

I picked this game up a few months ago at Rogers for $7.99, and it was well worth it. Definitely one of the most underrated games on the system.
will it really scan at $6 its not in the bargan bin it was in the case
Yes, because the price is in their system regardless of if its in the bin or not. Also true of Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit. Some Wal-Marts have moved them into their bins while others have not. Keep in mind that it will only scan at $6 for the remainder of Boxing week (reg $12).
I want it only because it developed in London >_>
Ontario!

And they demoed an early build of the game at my school and it seemed like it went down a totally different path.

I'm in St. Catharines, and that's the only thing that makes me "want" to get Too Human, but I can't even justify it at $30.

Dark Sector looks and plays great, it was just lacking a lot of buzz, and I found it pretty odd that only D3 Publisher took up the game to release.

For $7 you'll more than get your money's worth with this game if you're looking for an RE4/Gears clone-ish type game.

You mean the version of the game that was set on a spaceship or something along those lines? That version looked incredible, back when it was the "first next-gen game to be announced".

Dark Sector is my pick for sleeper game of 2008. It may not have a great story and the online play is pretty negligible but the gameplay is top notch. I had a lot of fun playing this game. The glaive is one of the coolest weapons ever created. If you loved Gears Of War, Uncharted or the old multi-platform game of last gen Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy then you'll love this. At $6.41, it's an absolute steal.

That's the one! Looked pretty cool, and they talked about all the new kind of tech they were putting into the game. A lot of games came out that took place in space though, so the change in setting doesn't really bother me at all.
Any other Wal-Mart deals for around the $6 price?
Nope, the 50% off clearance games is over now

This game ruled back in the spring when there were no games coming out, I really enjoyed it. It has a few issues but nothing major, but after Dead Space it feels kind of irrelevant. It's very RE4 + Uncharted + the throwing mechanic from Heavenly Sword.
