Why are the EBay prices so high?

My local WM has had two of them sitting in the cased for over a week.

It hasn't been discontinued. It has been sold out in most places. There likely won't be any more produced until after 2005. They have schedules for production. Production didn't meet the surprise demand.

When Nintendo sends EB corp. a memo saying that it's currently not in production and will resume production after the holiday season, it IS discontinued!

That means that it's currently discontinued.

Do you seriously think that everything that hasn't been discontinued is being produced 24 hours a day? They go through runs. They projected a certain amount of buys, undershot, and now are in the crapper. The soonest they can get some more produced is early next year. That is not discontinued.

If you try and buy a Strawberry Sunrise from Jamba Juice and they have run out of strawberries and won't get anymore until tomorrow morning, does that mean they discontinued the Strawberry Sunrise until tomorrow? No, they just ran out...
