DDR Super Nova (NEW AMERICAN ARCADE DDR)

I am so happy another arcade mix is coming to the U.S. even though I probably won't be able till play it until another 5 years (my local arcade finally got DDR Extreme in December)
 
This is great news. I was really hoping for a new Japanese arcade mix because I always preferred the Dancemania songs which until recent US home releases, have really only been in the Japanese mixes.

I am so sick and tired of playing Extreme in the arcade though so any new mix is awesome. Every and I mean every DDR machine in my area is an Extreme (in the past year 1/2 I lost a 4th Mix +, 5th Mix, Max 2 to an Extreme). And Extreme has been out for over 3 years already and there hasn't been a new US DDR arcade mix in what, 5 or 6 years? (DDR USA).

I really want new songs (new to DDR) from Smile.dk, Captain Jack, Jenny Rom, E-Rotic, Bambee and all the other artists who had their music in earlier DDR games.
 
I know, What I am saying is songs from his older albums that never made it into DDR, not new Captain Jack songs, but new to DDR. Songs like Iko Iko, Hi-Ho, Centerfold, Volare, Take Me Out To The Ballgame etc.

At least you see them around. But then again I hardly go out. Yea a new DDR would be real nice, yet I still have to get from DDRMax2 and up for the console. You'd think with all the money spent in the arcade you could just buy the game and save some money.

Because new albums never emerge from mixed recording sessions of dead artists. :roll:

Maybe I'm in the minority here, and perhaps I'm having latent memories of the music video, but Madonna's Abba ripoff, "Hung Up," would *totally* make a great DDR song.

Ah.

Some of those would make pretty bad DDR songs. Then again, somehow Little Boy got on there xD.
 
oh no, this means i might have to start playing ddr again. i gave it up so i would have somewhat of a life.

i wonder how bad i am since i stopped playing for so long.

Little off-topic, but which DDR game was it that had that remix of The Specials "Little Bitch" in it? I remember playing DDR at an arcade at my college specifically because it had The Specials on it.

Little Bitch is on DDR Extreme, but I do not know the artist, or if it is a remix or not. www.ddrfreak.com should have the answer to your question.

DDR extreme and DDR 1st mix. It just sucks that it hasn't made its way into a home version yet.
