I found a few games it doesn't work for but it should work on most Xbox/PS3/Wii U/PC games.

A couple games that will drop to $37.99 after code:
Rayman Legends Wii U
The Witch and The Hundred Knights
Dead Island Riptide
Dragons Crown
Dance Central 3

Also might want to lock in any pre orders that could be rare-ish later like Halo 4 limited or Forza Horizon.

You have to chat with a CSR to get it on the Mercenary Edition, and even then they'll only refund you the $12 after you contact them back after the game ships. Newegg CSRs tend to be very picky about giving out credits so make sure the account you order it on is new or has had no prior credits issued, and that this is the first time you'd be using the promo code on that account. $60 PC version is a trend started by Activision, jumped on by EA, and now starting to propagate. It's the reason I got X-Com from this sale because Newegg has it listed for $50 instead of everyone else's $60 tag.

For the rest of you who couldn't possibly care less about my gaming purchases, I also got Ni No Kuni, Last of Us, and NFS: Most Wanted.

Actually what link said so whoever said they got the code to work without contacting the customer serivce is trolling big time since i also had to contact customer service as well......not calling anyone a liar but troll more like it lol

NewEgg didn't change it or whatever it is you think they've done. I have chatted with them, I've sent them an E-mail, but I couldn't get it to work. One of the posters said that he'll receive a credit after the game is released. But NONE confirmed for the code to work Ragnarok ME, except you. So pardon my accusing you of lying. And if you can show proof, I can E-mail it to them and maybe I can get some credit as well.
 
newegg csrs are like rocks. it took me an hour once to get satisfaction from them. they weren't rude, just absolute rocks of 'sorry, but we can't..." (even though they eventually did)
 
I preordered a bunch of stuff, but I might forgo the savings and buy from Amazon just to avoid the terribly banged up game cases I get on arrival from Newegg. At least if I do get a messed up one from amazon, they'll easily replace it.

Amazon sometimes replaces dented CEs with more dented CEs.

You gotta be shitting me... I tried it earlier yesterday and tried chatting with CS to get it to work and they told me to forward the email (it's your fucking promo, how do you not have the email!?) but that they couldn't adjust it.

I've had this happen to me but usually, it was due to how the item was package. Newegg is easily the worst retailer for CEs (unless they're those gigantic CEs).
