[DEAD] $19.99 blu rays at Sears (Wanted, Caspian, Hancock, Hellboy II)

Sears has Wanted, Hancock, Chronicles of Narnia prince Caspian, And Hellboy II on blu ray for $19.99 each..also says additional titles are available, although no more are pictured. The price is on page 15 of this coming weeks sale ad.

My fault, sorry the sale starts this Sunday 11-30 thru 12-6. I didn't even think about putting in the dates because Wanted and Caspian are not out yet, sorry for the confusion
 
which reminds me. Do we have any more confirmation for the $10 manufacturers coupon in the SD version of Caspian for the Blu Ray version (ala Dan in Real Life, Enchanted etc..). I believe it was Blu-news that mentioned that a $10 coupon was enclosed in the DVD but I hadn't heard any confirmation from anyone else yet. Was hoping someone might confirm (get a copy of the DVD as a present and snag the coupon to couple with the sears deally)

PM'd Hellboy II and Hancock at BB when they opened at 10, ad in hand - plan to do same for Wanted and CON:pC on Tuesday

Stopped by Sears when they opened at 11 to see what the "additional titles" were. For one, they had 0 copies of HB II or Hancock, and the the only other titles I saw marked on sale (which were all inconsistently tagged - HB II had no shelf sale tag) were I Am Legend and The Departed...no idea on any other titles..... the sales clerks were clueless.

I liked it. Im thinking about it for $20. Guessing it won't be on a $15 sale for a while. Its sort off an Iron Man type movie, comic book hero thing, alcoholic etc.

Thanks OP, I usually don't pay attention to Sears DVD/Blu-ray deals as they usually aren't deals at all. PM'd Hancock and Hellboy 2 tonite, going to get Wanted tomorrow. Thanks again.

Blah no sears ad in my paper. I didn't even look this weekend until last night. looks like I gotta print out the page from the ad online and even make BB look online so they can price match and give me the coupon as well. too much hassle but for a $10 movie it is worth it ;)

No. The movie is shit. Whoever compared it to Iron Man, come on that's ridiculous. This movie is worse than I Am Legend. Can't say much without spoiling but prepare for plot holes the size of Mt. Everest and enter at your own risk...
 
Hancock is shitty movie every made. 1st 25 mins is kickass & awsomeness after that waste mine $$$ & times to watching it. They should pay me to watch that movie.

From the Universal Pictures insert in the 11/27 paper, it had mfr cpn's for $3 off Mamma Mia, Mummy TOTDE, Hellboy II, Animal House gift set, Bourne Trilogy, Beethoven's Big Break, Burn After Reading, and Wanted.
 
The great news? I PM'd this deal for NARNIA at Best Buy, but I pulled it off for the 3-Disc Blu-ray! Frankly, I could give a rippin' flip about the Disney File crap, but the 3-disc has a nice slipcover, so it made for a much classier look than the 2-disc. The girl at the counter hardly looked at the ad, entirely missing that Sears is only advertising the 2-disc version for $19.99, he he... Now the part where karma bit me in the ass? Coming here afterward and finding that I could have grabbed an instant $10 off coupon, too...sigh...
 
it worked. i PM'ed all 4 Blu-rays. I asked the CSR dont i get 10% of the price difference, she was like i have to call a manager. He was giving me some BS about how they will only Price Match but no 10% off the difference. i stood strong and he ended up take 10% more off the Price match prices, so i ended up with 4 blu rays for $72 plus tax so about $75 total. ($18 for each blu ray). In addition to that i picked up the 3 disc edition for prince caspian. So a big savings today! So for those who get into any problems with the price matching policies of Best Buy or Circuit City stay firm about there price matching polices and you will end up with a great bargain on 4 blu rays!

According to Best Buy's website, the 10% is from purchases that were already made. That's kind of weird, because there's hardly a difference... you could just buy it and immediately take it to customer service instead.

I am weak, I PM'ed Hellboy 2 at BB and then went on to order Sealab seasons 1-4 on Amazon and Mr. Bean: The Complete Series of Deepdiscount.

If you do the PM at the time of purchase, they'll only do the straight PM.

CC will do a PM + 10% additional at the time of purchase.

Yes, buy at full price first and go back and PM it to get the difference but sometimes the difference is not much.. probably like 10 cents.

Sometimes BB sales clerk won't let you use coupon if you PM. Kinda sucks!
