I was just at Best Buy yesterday! I would have checked if I had known. Wow. Billy Hatcher seems like a very good deal. I'll make a trip there today.

Who else here is sick of bestbuy.com accepting your order then sending an email immediately telling you it's on backorder? Are they ever gonna ship my Wild Arms 3 and Kirby? :roll:

Niles, OH BB had a couple copies of Sonic Advance 2 for $9.99, so if you're running to Best Buy, you might want to look for that as well.
 
I ended up ordering Kirby online, just had my BO email show up, shipment date was listed as the 23rd.

I did Billy Hatcher for in-store delivery, and it should be waiting for me at the store set up for pickup.

Fire Emblem wasn't available in-store or on the website.
 
There were a bunch of other markdowns at BB today in addition to those already mentioned. I picked up:

Bomberman Jetters (GC) - $4.99
NBA Live 2004 (GC) - $4.99
MTX Mototrax (XB) - $9.99
 
Do you think I can get my local Circuit City or TRU to price match these Best Buy prices since they are also in store. I think to do the price match they usually call to see if it's in stock (which doesn't help me since BB has been sold out for months already)

Only problem with that I can see is that since the SKU is listed as deleted, it may come up as a clearance-type price, which means you might not get it to be matched, since most places won't do clearance pricing.
 
My PacMan shipped and Kirby and Fire Emblem are still "in process". I've got a bad feeling.

I wanted this to be all or nothing. I'm kinda pissed that they would ship part of it before getting all of the order together.
 
This is pissing me off... my Fire Emblem and Billy Hatcher are both "being processed", but I ordered them at 5:38 this morning (as my order details email tells me).

Yeah, Circuit City won't pricematch an item that is out of stock at Best Buy.

we all know Ackbar is the downfall of this site. He always orders a ton of copies of games he can make a profit off of. CAG is his second source of income :lol:

That was really weird... I clicked "Quote" to direct you, MadFlava, to the previous posts discussing how many copies that Ackbar bought, but then when I saw the text that I had quoted, it had "magically" changed :lol:
 
Jeez, I bought two...

If you want the extra copy, you'll have to enter next years NFL Pool.

I'm gonna put together a prize package of $5 and $10 games of each system for next year. This year was kinda ad-hoc. But by the time the new nfl Season rolls around the FIre Emblem will probably be much more valuable and harder to find.
 
I was going into my Bestbuy for Fire Emblem but they were out of stock..HOWEVER...I did pick up MOH:Infiltration for 4.99 and Max Payne for 1.99....both for GBA
 
Hey my back ordered Fire Emblem just shipped. WTF, I thought anything that gets back ordered from Best Buy never ever gets shipped. Unbelievable, I think I'll go out and buy Lotto tickets today....
 
i completely forgot that i had ordered billy hatcher, and checked my best buy account and saw that it had shipped yesterday...

Only worth 4 bucks. I've heard so many good things about this game. You are probably right, they will probably start selling FE at $19.99 in time for the holidays. I hope Mario and Luigi get a price drop soon.

IIRC, Ebgames and Gamestop were selling copies of Mario and Luigi for $20 new after Christmas last year. It may not be out of the question. I wonder what they will have this year.
 
My Fire Emblem shipped yesterday :)

This is the first time I've scored a deal at Best Buy. Every time I try to find a game in store, it's sold out. I missed out on the big $5 sale, Advance Wars 2, Wario Ware, and even the recent sale.
