[DEAD] Amazon DOTD: Bond Bundle $125!

MAN I WANT TO GET THIS SET BAD! Yes the caps were needed. If you were wondering what movies were included:

Great price! I can't get these used cheap locally for less than $40 a set. But I also have bills to pay...

Hell yeah, bought this immediately. No hesitation! And 2-day shipping free with Amazon prime. Amazon is gonna make me broke. O_O;

Same here!
Jesus, I'm so tempted but it's only a matter of time before these all get remastered for HD.
Yea I'm waiting for remastered HD edition also.

Stellar deal - had a $25 reward certificate from my Amazon Visa, so $100 with no tax (and free shipping) made it even better :) The bf (who's been looking to sell his old box sets and buy these) will be a very happy camper when this shows up on the doorstep!

damn you `zon!!

i just kicked you down a hundie for Seinfeld 1-7.

but this is a CRAZY SWEET deal!!

i know everyone can do the math on their own but i couldn't resist

Don't forget Never Say Never Again :)

So, I have never had the desire to see Bond films. In fact I had always thought of them as pretty stupid. But I did want to see the last one. Does that mean I would probably like the others?

*scratches head*

If you're asking if you should buy the entire Bond collection based on the fact you wanted to (but did not) see the last Bond film, I would say no.

I would buy Casino Royale (or rent) on DVD and get the rest later if you enjoy it.

Yeah. I guess I was just wondering if there was anyone else out there who once thought that they would dislike Bond, but later ended up liking it a lot when they actually saw some films. I would just never pay more for these films than this price ($6.25 a pop). So this is a one chance thing for me (no time to rent). I do plan on buying Casino Royale at BB though.

there are one or two that have some stupid parts

but 95% of all Bond films are top-notch kick ass guy movies that everyone with a penis should see at least once

Well I decided to order both this and Casino Royal. I had the Bond Set on my wish list since before release and $55 off of Amazons standard price is a great deal.

I'll always be more of an Indy kind of guy than a Bond one, but I couldn't pass this up. My previous indifference to Bond DVDs paid off! Thanks for the 'heads up', OP!

And I ordered it through my PSP! Sony would be proud!

I paid $15 more becuase I bought it at costco even with the $10 off....but I dont regret buying it. The picutre and sound quality upgrade is worth it alone.

Good price for a fantastic set.

Just ordered them without a second thought. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the price. I thought the normal $175.00 bundle price was good. This is just freakin' awesome. Picked up Casino Royale this morning and soon I'll have the whole series. God I love this site. I would have never of known without it.:bouncy:

i bought them at costco a couple weeks ago...great investment. the PQ on these are quite remarkable. the bond formula might get too repetitive and too cheesy for some people but i love them all (except for a couple of the roger moore ones).

Note that this set does not include Never Say Never Again, so for the complete Bond series you will have to pick up that as well.

Yeah, I just watched Live and Let Die and then I remembered why I didnt remember it.....I mean it isnt as bad as Moonraker or a View to a Kill but....it wasnt good either....lot of racism which I found funny cause wed never get away with that today...

Roger Moore = best Bond. No joke. And Octopussy = best Bond movie hands down.

I wish I had gotten on CAG earlier today because I would have ordered the set at that price, especially since my parents own me $20.
Great deal. Thanks, OP. So does anyone know when Amazon charges credit cards? Is it when the item ships? Before?
whenitships

They do a pending charge when they start preparing it for shipment. Depending on your shipping method that can be from same day to up to 5 days in advance. They will not actually process the charge until the package has been put in the mail, however. I have received a package before the charge was fully processed on my card at least once. As an aside, this new gold box crap is killing me. I ordered a DS yesterday and the Spidey Complete Collection DVD-Rom today. Between that, the game DOTD, and the Blu-Ray sale, I'm so far beyond broke, it's not even funny.
