(DEAD) Amazon DOTD - Deadwood Complete ($60.49 DVD, $$83.99 BD)

That discount is a one-time discount per Amazon account, so you need to be careful about using it.

It'll also work on up to three titles at the same time, so if you want other items, you should toss them together into your cart at the same time.

I signed up for the Amazon Visa card, so with the $40 off and 20% coupon I got the Blu-ray for $27.19. Thanks OP and BingoBrown!

But you can create a new account (all you need is a different email address) and still use the same credit card, billing info, shipping info, etc., and you'll be able to use the code again.

Oh damn, I was going to skip this, but that extra 20% off makes it awfully tempting...

As for only being able to use it once... meh, it's only good through September 15th, and I wasn't buying any other TV sets between now and then anyway.

Edit: Oh, well fuck... "when you use your Amazon Rewards Visa Card"... I only have an Amazon store card, and I don't want to sign up for another credit card right now. Dammit! Back to skipping it, I guess.

I was tempted yesterday with Gohastings at 85.
I sure can't pass on this at $27.
Thank you Amazon.
That is Crazy Cheap.

If you sign up for the Amazon Visa, they give you $40 credit instantly. That plus the 20% off deal drops it way down.

Edit - So I signed up for the Rewards Visa and added Deadwood Blu and a couple seasons of West Wing. Couldn't use the promo. Talked to Amazon CS who told me Deadwood isn't part of the promo despite it appearing in the Western category. So...sigh. I might go for it anyway because of the credit and try to get someone else to adjust it for me.

Promo worked just fine for me and other people in this thread. One thing I will warn you about is if you try to use the promo code with just say, Deadwood, in the cart and then try to add other things and apply the promo again, it will say it can't be applied. That's because it was a once only shot whether you checked out or not.

The rep you spoke with was completely wrong.

I was going to jump all over this, and then realized I could watch the entire series of it and other HBO shows using HBO Go (their on-demand service for subscribers of HBO). Wow do I have some catching up to do (True Blood, Entourage, etc.).

Frankly, I don't trust anything AMC puts out after the string of complete mediocrity with Rubicon, The Walking Dead, and The Killing.
