Are the deal of the days generally limited in quantity or can I wake up tomorrow and order this no problem when I want to grab some of the lightning deals?

it says "all day" so i'd imagine they have a substantial quantity and they will honor it the entire day. can't say with 100% certainty, though.

I'm praying they have a ton of these because I won't get paid until 3 hours before the deal ends. Does anyone know how the Blu-Ray set is packaged?

Been waiting for this, literaly screamed fuck YEAH when i seen this over twitter. THis and the Back to the future deal made my christmas. thanks.

Is it true that these are just the movie discs?

Reviews say there are no bonuses that came from the other standalone editions.

Also saying they're the Theatrical release and not the Extended.

They're also $25 - $35 each.

Personally, I'm holding out for the box set of the extended editions that will inevitably come out after they're done with all of the individual releases. Until then, I have netflix if I really want to watch these movies.

I was going to be all over this when I saw the price on the calendar, then I saw that they're in those skinny cases, and since I already have number 6, I just picked up the standalones for 1-5. it was worth the $10 to not be driven insane by the ugliness of the box set.

thanks though op!

If you guys really want to get the collection, I suggest you to wait until the next holiday season (really)...

Just wait until all the 7 movies are available in Blu-ray and buy the definitive collection. You know it's going to happen.

As much as I want the movies right now, I know I would get buyer's remorse for buying an incomplete set.

Last book is split into 2 movies... So the complete set will end up being 8 movies... I'll wait for a full set. I have them all on DVD, and that's good enough for me for now.

I've already got 5 of them on HD-DVD, 5 on DVD, and 3 on Blu ray. What the heck, I may as well get all 6 on Blu Ray. It'll make for a nice gift for my wife. She could care less about the lack of extras.

there's no lack of extras. check this out.

Thanks for the deal OP! This will be a perfect Christmas gift for my 12 year old niece who is absolutely obsessed with Harry Potter. I'll probably go the blu-ray route, it's hard to find blu-ray sets for that cheap.

:D
not that great of a deal for the DVD version (currently 29.99), but the blu set currently sells for 69.99, so that's a solid 30 bucks off.
Wow, Amazon. Ordered it this morning and got an email saying it shipped. I checked the estimated delivery date and it says tomorrow. Love Amazon Prime.

I'm a bit on the fence about this HP set. Never seen any of them, just heard they were good. $40 is a steal for 6 blu-ray movies, but if I don't like them, that's still $40. Even though I almost never buy movies on DVD anymore, $24 is more tempting just to try them out.

But heck, I could rent them all for free at my local library :/ I dunno.

I never had any interest until April. I rented the first one on blu ray on netflix. Liked it a lot so I ordered this set for 55 shipped back then and then read all the books too. I was hooked.

But yeah, there are extras on these.

I had been operating under the impression that this set lacked much extras, but it appears pretty much everything from the regular Blu releases is there. Might have to jump on it, and dump all my crappy DVD versions.
