The relationships in Please Teacher are greatly over-simplified IMO, and it makes use of a pretty convenient plot device. And the main character was the kind that makes you want to punch him in the face for being such a whiny runt in a damn good situation. But among whiny runts, I think he's the wimpiest ever, so there's that.

That said, the relationships in Please Twins are much more believable. Yeah, the subject has to do with incest, but Genetic Sexual Attraction is a real occurrence/condition, and I think the show deals with it well. Though I will say the included OVA was crummy and doesn't merit viewing except for a tiny bit of fanservice humor. Watch with an open mind, and be forewarned there are a LOT of un-steamy bath scenes.

I've seen it as low as $17 during a sale at CDUniverse (IIRC), but $25 is a solid price. Rightstuf regularly has it for $29.99 on the weekly deals, so it's not an amazing sale in comparison, but the show is well worth twice the price.

Is anyone else having an issue? I placed my order on Friday and shortly got an email confirming my order but the order has still not shown up on my "order history" page. Also, my paypal account page still shows "pending" under my payment information.

This may seem silly to people who order from DD often but I'm not sure if this is a usual delay or not and I'd hate to miss out on the sale because some miscommunication from paypal.
 
ya I did manage to take the plunge and ordered the cowboy bebop collection the day this was first posted and the item came fairly quickly though one of the discs had a somewhat small ring scratch on it but that said the discs work fine and that's all that matters to me.
 
Wanted to pop back in and say that I placed my order on 5/19 and got it on 5/24 and that's with the weekend!
