(DEAD) Arrested Development - Complete Series for $27.99 at Amazon.

If you haven't seen it, this is one show that's worth owning because you will watch it repeatedly.

Great price, too. $28 for 50+ episodes?
If it's so good, why did it only last 3 seasons?
Because it wasn't cheap and trashy enough for the average television viewer.

Second-best TV comedy of all-time IMO, next to Seinfeld. And it could have surpassed Seinfeld if it had a chance to run for 5+ seasons.

BUY THIS if you haven't seen it before, you won't regret it!

someone refresh my memory, just for old times sake..but did all the seasons run in HD? I remember it started right about the advent of cable HD, but think it may have only been the third season.

It'd be nice for them to put out a blu ray box set, but I can keep dreaming I suppose..

This is a truly great show but if you have Netflix all three seasons are on instant watch. I keep passing up on owning all three seasons just because of this.

Def worth it for $27.99. I remember paying that much for one season back then. I took a chance and it is still one of the few shows I can re-watch and love it just as much. After about 3 or 4 episodes you'll be hooked.

Don't know which seasons were/weren't in HD...

I used my PS3 to re-watch it on DVD though (on an HDTV, no less) and it looks great. Fills the wide screen (and the clarity is good), and for this price you can't go wrong.
great deal, but I would never buy it since I can get it for "free" on Netflix.
Yep, I might buy it some day but I'm in no hurry.

According to this website: http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/Reviews/Reviews.asp?ID=5940

all three seasons were shot in HD. Which means they'll only look their best if/when released on blu-ray. I'm waiting too!

You're fucking kidding, right? Most of the really good shows last hardly any time at all on basic cable these days...

Fantastic show. Worth owning and they wrapped up the series well at the end for only having 3 seasons. Also, they are supposed to have a follow up movie sometime in the future.

It seems like every year at about this time they have this for 30 bucks, and every year it's after everyone who would get me a gift is done shopping, and after I've spent all my money buying shit for other people. One day, AD, one day.

Thanks for the heads-up OP. :)

Just ordered mine, haven't seen this show in years, hope it holds up as well as I remember.

look at firefly, brilliant syfy and only lasted 1 season.. T:SCC only lasted 2 and the recent Terriers show.. 1 season.

A show doesn't have to have 36 seasons to be good, matter a fact most shows that last more then 5 season end up having alot of awful seasons IE 24 and smallville, that show was plagued with poorly written seasons because it got dragged out, 3 seasons is actually a good amount.

i doubt we will see them on blu-ray, it's been what? 4 years since BR released and no word on it? hell fox won't even give us 24 on blu-ray which would sell millions or season 2 of lie to me which is brand new and was shot in HD on blu-ray let alone a failed tv show

i would love to see it on BR but seeing as priority shows aren't getting releases (24, prison break, lie to me etc) i highly doubt this will.
