[DEAD NOW]

This is the same bundle that Gamestop did recently for the 20GB PS3, but without the extended warranty and magazine subscription, making it somewhat cheaper. This will be gone in minutes.

http://videogames.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?z=y&cds2Pid=8004&ean=2000003127368

This Bundle contains the following:
PS3 20 GB
Wireless Controller
Untold Legends
Madden 2007
Ridge Racer 7
NBA 07
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Resistance Fall of Man

I think that the 20GB is preferable to the 60GB model.

If it was like $200 cheaper instead of $100, the 20GB would be a no brainer.
It's been over an hour and the system is still there. Looks like PS3 mania has officially died down.
Yeah, that's surprising, although it could simply be that most people don't think to cheap Barnes & Noble for PS3s.

The funny thing its' coming from Gamestop and not Barnes&Nobles. Hmm...this sounds a lil weird for me. I have a 60GB already but for the fact you pre-order from B&N and its meant for Gamestop just doesn't seem right.

They might do what RadioShack did to my Wii and say it was all an accident.
PRE-ORDER...Dec.8th is ship date, who knows how accurate that is.
Actually, from what I've been reading on the Amazon PS3 forum, people who were originally been given a date of the 8th from Gamestop are having their orders ship already, so who knows?

Actually, I got my Wii bundle from B&N.com through Gamestop. Everything came fine and on time.

That's the email from yesterday.

Nuoctuong -- Did you get the email that B&N sent asking for your authorization? You have to call them to finalize the order. If that email got lost or something, I could see the order getting canceled.

I ordered one of these bundles myself, so I'm very interested...

I got depressed so I decided to walk down to Gamestop and Bestbuy on 86th and Lexington, NYC to see if they have any good puzzle games on sales. Nothing at Gamestop. I went over to the Bestbuy and walked around the game section. A guy ask one of the sale associates if they have any Wii, she said "No, but we have PS3, do you want one?" He said, "no!" I got excited and asked her if I can get one and she said, "Sure, follow me!" I got to the check-out and they keep trying to sell me the 2 years replacement plan for an additional $99 which I said I don't want. Story short, Best Buy on 86th and Lexington, NYC has them.

Oh shoo...and I forgot to buy any puzzle games. Does anyone know where I can get Bust-A-Move for the PS1? My sister-in-law wants it, but I can't find it anywhere.

You've got to be kidding. Now BN sent me this email:

BB on 86th and Lex only has 20GB PS3. You can pay $80 extra service fee and they will "replace it" with the 60GB up to two years after date of purchase. I didn't bother.

Did you get the 20 GB PS3?

Yeah, the replacement plan is bull. They were really pushing it too.
It's stupid that the 20 gig doesn't have WiFi. I guess they will make an add on later, or can someone use a USB WiFi card?
I am pretty sure it has Wifi now... it just comes with a wired controler.

It says on the back of the box there is no WiFi in red. What changed?

Is there any way to add WiFi to it through the USB ports or an expansion bay? Sony has no room to toot their horn about the 20 gigger considering it's missing WiFi and no card reader (not a big deal but still annoying). I feel like they did this on purpose to justify the $100 extra rape on the 60 gig version.
Oh, by the way, I got in one one, they don't charge you until they ship it..

I'll cancel if I can find a 60 gb
I got this same bundle from EB when it first came out, and it got cancelled because they said they lost my order. I want it for a Xmas gift for a family member, so I just ordered it again. I don't really care about the 40 gigs of extra space, I'm just kind of bleh on the no WiFi thing for the 20 gig version.

Yea bundle looked like the EBGames/Gamestop one, I scored 3 of those if someone wants one pm me.

It is a huge bundle though, hopefully my 60gb comes in by monday. I don't really need the WiFi but $100 for the space probably worth it, isn't Microsoft's harddrive like $100 for the 20GB?

Of course they did. At the moment, there isn't an official way to add wireless to the 20GB model, but I'm pretty sure that Sony will be providing one sooner or later. The hard disk is user replaceable, so that's not a big deal, and neither is the card reader since a USB reader will work fine. So the wireless is the only major difference. I have a router very close to my gaming area, so the only reason I would care about this is that Sony has a feature that allows your PSP to wirelessly access some types of content on the PS3 (photos, videos, etc) and I thought that would be kind of cool. But realistically it's not something that I would do very often and definitely not a deal-breaker for me.

Oh, and mine's been scheduled to ship too. I think we're getting the last ones that Gamestop couldn't sell through its own site. We could have these in our hands very soon. I'm just glad I don't have to obsess about finding one anymore...

The extra space isn't that important in my opinion because I keep my porn on the PC anyways ;)

I probably won't be getting a PS3 for myself for at least a year, and by then, Sony will release a 200 gig version for $2000.

Got mine as well. Everything was ok except that the package for the additional Sixaxis controller had been totally ripped open. I think I'm going to email them about that.
