Hmm, I'll have to check it out.

EDIT: Meh, I didn't see anything that I didn't already have. Besides, shipping somewhat kills the deal as any of these games can be had for $14.99 with the Gamer's Gift Card. But thanks for posting this.
 
Yeah, shipping killed it for me too, but it's still a little better than the GGC:

$15.47 with taxes and shipping per game ($1.99 less if you can do in-store pickup)

vs.

$16.01 = In store GGC price with taxes (when the titles are $19.99)
 
I should also add, that some games that are listed in the ad are not available online:

Full Spectrum Warrior (Xbox)
NBA Ballers (PS2)

To name a couple.
 
Weird, if you add Virtua Fighter Evolution to your cart and another greatest hits it actually raises the price of evolution to 12.50 from the normal everyday price of 9.99.

Remember that the sale is on PH, GH, PC games that are at least $19.99 so if you don't pay attention the lower than $19.99 games will increase to make it 2 for 25. I wonder would this deal work with SSMB since it is normally 30 bucks new and is a PC?

It doesn't actually seem to be all PH/GH/PC online. Neither Full Spectrum Warrior or Morrowind seem to work. It's even more odd since FSW is actually pictured in the ad.

Exactly what I was wondering. Was anyone able to pick up SSBM on the earlier "2 for 30" sales? I might have to head up to Best Buy and see if i can talk them into it, despite it having a higher price tag...

My friend you would be sadly mistaken because the coupon at ToysRUs isn't for 10 dollars of a 50 dollar purchase but it is a 10 dollar gift card for any purchase over 50 bucks.

He might be referring to the $10 off $50 coupon that was sent in the mail a week or two ago. I don't know if this can be used in addition to the one in the weekly ad, but it came with a flyer for the two new Wario Ware games.

The ad says it's for games that are normally priced $19.99, and Smash Bros. is $29.99. But Mario Sunshine is $19.99 and it doesn't work either.
 
Why would the GGC make it more expensive? Couldn't you get two games for $25, then use the GGC to make it 2 games for $20, which even with tax, would be something like $22 at most?

The GGC is only good for games at $19.99 or over. When you buy two of these games the price will read $12.50 each on the receipt, making them ineligible.
 
I just picked up Resident Evil and Simpsons Hit and Run. I don't mind the player choice packaging on the PS2 or GC games. But theyt only had the players hit versions fof the simpsions. The Platinum is ugly.

But there are also two pricegrabber rebates. One for each game. Hopefully they'll come through and it'll be 2 for $15 AR.
 
Super Smash Bros Melee is not going to work - Nintendo reissued the game with the black border and the 'best seller' little logo in the corner. It certainly looks nicer on the DVD shelf, but it no longer is a 'player's choice' title and it's still priced at $30.
 
How the hell can they just cancel an order on an ADVERTISED sale?

And I don't think they offer rainchecks either.

I wish the BBB would come down on them. Hard. And EBGames.

Got Pokemon Colosseum at BB B+M store today. Like SSBM, it has the "Best Seller" circle on the front, and no player's choice yellow! Also got Red Dead Revolver for XBOX -- not sure how good it is.

Click on the CAGrabber link (Next to the CAG-O-Matic) at the top of the page. Then enter the game name like "Simpsons Xbox" in the finder.

Even if it comes up, make sure to click on the link for the product. Sometimes the rebate doesn't show up until you bring up the actual game.

Am I mistaken or could you go to CC and get a pricematch for any of the games on sale at BB? That would save an extra 10% wouldn't it? I was thinking about going to CC tomorrow and trying this.

Cheslea, NY. My cashier looked like she wasn't going to give it to me, but I kept pointing out the phrase "includes over 100 titles" in the flyer. It was near closing time and I think they just wanted to get me out the door.
 
OK, I'm seriously considering picking up Sonic Heroes and something else.

What are your opinions on Sonic Heroes? Some reader reviews give it 8-9 and some give it 2-4, seems *very* split.
 
well, if I DID get it I'd get the GC version - but I still don't know if I'm going to. I can't believe how polarized the opinions seem to be on this one.
 
I just bought Sonic Heroes (Cube), and though I've only played 2 levels, I think it's okay. Definitely worth it to have in my collection for $12.50. I'd say that if you enjoyed Sonic Adventure 1/2 you'll have similar feelings about this. The three characters at once thing feels gimmicky and keeps it from being Sonic fast-paced all the time, but at least you don't have to suffer through whole stages of the other stuff like in SA2.

I don't see why they wouldn't. PM the offer to TRU, spend $50, get any 4 $20 games that you want, and you get the $10 Giftcard. I think you need to have the coupon from a newspaper though.

Is it in TRU's policy to PM special sales like this? I know that CC would not PM this because it is on their excluded list as a special.:( And no more PMing regular store prices either for me, the clerk said they stopped doing that :( Not sure if they were all told to do that or not.
