[DEAD] Costco's not-obnoxious X360 bundle

That is actually a pretty sweet deal.

console = 400
xtra controller =40
game =50
play and charge = 20
------------------------------

Total = $510 value

even with shipping it is $502

You actually get the Plug & Play for free with this bundle it looks like:

System - $400
Controller - $30
Game - $50

Good find OP! Too bad shipping is super expensive at $24

I thought the wireless controllers were 50 bucks...

System - 400
Game - 50
Wireless Controller - 50
Play and Charge - 20

= $520ish

I wonder how they are selling it so cheap... even if it is costco. Almost makes me to want to cancle my walmart order
What's the Play and Charge kit?
Its a cable that lets you charge your wireless controller and play with it at the same time. Do you have to be a paying Costco member to order?

FYI, "Non-members pay a 5% surcharge for costco.com purchases"

Nice, still didnt order one, but doubt my dad will give me a cc. So is this in store preorder also? (closest is 8 miles, cant check)
Not that interested in PGR3 either, but I guess I could trade it in.

I admit I'm stunned, it appears someone has come up with a console bundle pre-order that actually saves you money and is worth it. Totally amazed, I didn't know if thi sday would ever come...

How are you saying this is a good deal?

Those things separate cost $520, add tax (7% where i live): $556 Which last time i checked is les than $572.

If you are a costco member it is good. IF you are not, it is still pretty good to find a bundle without the ridiculous extras.

PGR3 will probably be the best launch racing title till Burnout Revenge 360 comes out. Unfortunately theres a heavy rumor that PGR3 will be pushed back a few months, even a year.

Otherwise this is the best online deal so far.

Costco has a "lifetime return" policy. And I'm serious - I heard a woman returned a worn pair of jeans about 5 years after she bought it and they gave her money back. She had her receipt of course. But still, major :shock: factor.

It really does seem like a nice deal, even with shipping. Im tempted, but now im just contemplating if i really need a new console considering so many great games are coming out this fall.

Remember costco has a great return policy. No questions asked as long as you have a receipt. I returned a 2 year old TV and laptop and got back all my money. The computer return policy has changed since. Now you can only return computer related stuff up to six months but it's still an amazing return policy.

Here is the cheapass solution. Skip the console fever for now . . . none of the games look that great. The launch games are rarely worth it.

I'm planning on just waiting until prices come down. So, even if you get this sys for $500, all the games are $50. I'm waiting to get God of War, RE4, Doom 3 (among others) for $15.

Plus the huge backlog of games that I have to play keep me sensible about this.

Here's a better solution.

Let's exploit the console fever to pay for huge backlog of games to keep us busy until the Xbox 720 or whatever thing MS will call it.

There's going to be a lot of stupid people out there this holiday season. Let's put their money in more responsible hands: ours.

This is great news. So buying from Costco is like a free extended waranty. One could buy it then retern it when the 360 is $200 and then rebuy it for $200 giving one $200 for more games :applause:

Brilliant
Hey looks like the first link is dead but this other bundle is available.

Is this a good deal too?

EDIT: damn, i guess it's gone already too.
this link works for me. seems like a shitty bundle though. Why would you want the memory card when you have the harddrive? It also has 3 games I wouldnt buy, but games are easily exchanged.

Which games were they, seems oos now.

Anyone know about instore.

Wow that costco return policy is crazy. I can't believe they are dumb enough to let people return old electronics. This store will never survive if they do not change their return policy.
