In my experience if I put it in slowly/gently at the perfect angle I can get it to fit. Ymmv on this working. This is the type of thing you end up learning when you own an XL (and are continually buying replacement styluses).

Don't force it too much though. It can be a real pain later if you do it wrong.

For a buck this game is pretty decent. Glad my 7 year old nephew enjoys it.
