****Price Matching DOES NOT STACK w/@gamer coupons****
****Even my VERY VERY generous local BB's will say no 1 or the other****

So when a $60 game like Dungeon Siege goes on sale for $40 stacking the coupon makes the final price $25. I'll update the OP as sales change & the title will reflect the lowest price AFTER COUPON has been taken off.

$10 off Test Drive Unlimited 2($20 after coupon)
$15 off Dungeon Siege III($45 after coupon)
$5 off ANY Stategy guide
$15 off Resistance/Resistance 2 double pack($25 after coupon)
$15 off Xbox live Gold 12 month starter kit($60 after coupon)
$30 off turtle beach headset DX11(On sale for $110, $80 after coupon)
$20 off Gears of War Triple pack when you ALSO pre-order($5) Gears of War III(this stacks with the $100 RZ offer)Total purchase should be $5 + tax after coupon
Tried to get the Resistance dual pack, came out to 24.99, manager tried twice but couldn't override the computer. Also bought the DX11, the X11 headset itself is a big POS, tinny, distorted. And the DSS is so so given you have a good headset to pair them up with. I returned it, wasn't even worth the sale price of 70. wasted 5 bucks on that cheap magazine. They are catching on to these coupon sales to game sales.
Just got back from bestbuy with both Resistance dual pack and gears of war tripple pack. Although the coupons did not take off the correct amounts (also resistance scanned full price so I showed them the bestbuy site on my phone with teh $29.99 price), so cashier called for customer service manager, and after explaiing the coupons and showing a printout of the bestbuy forums specifically about these coupons (http://forums.bestbuy.com/t5/forums...age-id/1019/print-single-message/false/page/1). They manually overrode the prices so ended up $20 + tax ($15 for resistance and $5 for gears of war 3 preorder). The bestbuy commnunity connectors are extremely helpful and even posted that if you have any troubles to contact them and they will work it out for you.

Also, regarding the x11/dss combo pack, I agree the x11s by themselves aren't that great (sound quality wise, they are very comfortable to me and I have a big head lol) but when you pair it with the dss, its like a totally different headset and the sound quality is amazing. Is it possible you didn't have the dss connected correctly? because you should definitely be able to hear the improvement over the standalone x11 headset.

Excited that the Resistance Dual Pack was finally $29.99 online, I swung into my BB with @gamer coupon in hand. When it rang up $39.99, I was dissapointed and chose not to debate the topic - knowing the coupon would still cause it to be $24.99 even after an online pricematch. I realize how it is supposed to work, but in this case - even though a winnable battle, I decided that it was better to remain in good graces since I have been their alot lately and they recognize me.

But I left happy after I found a Borderlands GOTY for 360. It was marked $39.99, but they promptly did a PA to the online price of $9.99.

i had the same problem, it shouldn't have been a hassle in the first place. i hope katrina is really trying to fix the problem.

I actually bought the Triton headset first then returned it because the reviews said they tend to break...upgraded to the X11's which I got for $35.15 w/the 20% deal (my buddy needed toner...sweet), then ended up getting the DX11's for $50 and change w/the coupon and the 20% off. I know they're the same headset which I'm fine w/but I basically got the DSS for $15. totally worth the upgrade imo, I can't wait to test them out.

...I'm just glad the cashier was experienced and did my transaction w/out a hitch.

actually that shouldn't have happened. deals don't work with coupons if i remember correctly, that's why you can't do their BOGO 50% off with the gamer coupon. his best buy just rocks, that's very YMMV. it's in the other thread for the next week sales.

25 minutes, 5 customer specialists and 2 managers to get $10 back from my gears 3 pack... Wasn't worth my time. After the first 10 minutes I decided that they wasted so much of my time that I was going to keep pushing. I went about it nicely but didn't accept no.

You are mistaken. For games that are advertised for a specific price, the coupons will stack and work without any override. (ex. I've had no problems getting Dungeon Seige 2 last week for $25 and Dragon Age 2 & Need for speed Shift 2 for $15 each a month ago or so).

The recent issues with the coupons "not working" with Gears of War tripple pack and resistance dual pack are separate issues. 1. the coupon for gears of war tripple pack is conflicting and states save $20 as well as get it for $9.99. However, bestbuy corporate (via their forums) have confirmed that the coupon should work, and the game + pre-order should total out to $5. If anyone have trouble with this, they have advised to contact them and they will straigten it out. 2. The resistance dual pack was not in the weekly ad, rather a special 3 day sale bb advertised on their website, but only today (the final day of the sale) has the price been reflecting the $10 discount for $29.99. As of 6:00pm when I purchased in store, it was ringing up for the full price, but I got them to discount it to the sale price and apply the coupon.

As far as the coupons working with other types of deals, specifically like the buy 2 get 1 free, this upcoming buy 1 get 1 50% and the buy more save more 20% off. I know the buy 2 get 1 free is rung up as a package deal which is why the coupons won't apply. For the buy 1 get 1 50%, I'm not sure, but if it is a package deal type thing, then the coupon will not work as well.

With the buy more save more deal, I don't believe it is processed as a package deal which is why the coupons would work in addition. It doesnt sound like the guy above had any problems at checkout, otherwise a manager would have had to be called to manually enter the coupon, as the cashier wouldn't have been able to do it themselves.

I need to get 3 ink cartridges any ways tomorrow, so I'm going to give it a try as its too good to pass up if it works with the $59.99 12 month live pack. after the 20% discount and $15 coupon it would be about $33 if both apply. Don't really need another mic or chatpad, but could always trade my old ones into gamestop to further offset the cost. Would be nice to have matching accessories (just would need the new black media remote lol).

I stopped reading after I was getting the I was mistaken, and just glanced over it. You don't start by saying, "You are mistaken." A little rude there.

The "buy 3-4, get 20%" didn't work at Best Buy I was at even though you said it wasn't a "package" deal. It's still a deal and deals don't work with coupons. I know sales work with coupons and I wasn't talking about in my previous post. I was talking about the deals, not working with the coupons. They consider it double-dipping which is kinda stupid on their part since the prices they have for some of deals are already overpriced still even with their "deals."

I know the situation of the coupons not working with the sales either. The way they programmed and worded it to work with the system wasn't fixed for this sale. Hell, they didn't even adjust the prices for the 3 day sale and in-store the prices were still the same. Rage? Mine is directed towards Best Buy and their policy not changing.

Dude, get over yourself. Don't take things so personal. I was not intending to be rude, I just said you were mistaken. If i were being rude, I would of flat out said you are wrong and you are stupid and to shut up because you don't know what you are talking about. In the post I quoted, all you said was "deals don't work with coupons" so sorry for not knowing you were not using the word deals in the general sense (as in any type of promotion/advertisment" and instead you were specifcally talking about the packaged promotions and such and not including advertised prices for a specific amount. Maybe next time you should be a little more specific and not insult people for not reading your mind and knowing exactly what you mean when you use general terms such as "Deals".

That was the first posting I read where someone used one of the coupons and the buy more save more, which is why I commented on it as I was wondering if it would work or not, but was going to wait to try it tomorrow when the live pack is on sale. Again, it didn't sound like he had any trouble at the register, but maybe the cashier did just manually deduct it and didn't need a manager over-ride.

the cashier did the exchange, the X11 for the DX11 bundle. Got my refund for the X11 then she rang up the DX11 bundle...I said, this would be my 4th item from the 20% off deal, so she took 20% off the price of $99.99, then I said I have this coupon, gave it to her, she put in my RZ rewards number, voided the coupon after she scanned it...then had to overrid something and the price dropped another $30. She had to do the transaction between 2 machines. YMMV, it wasn't busy, I'm very charming, and it was a nice day. I'm not complaining.

the cashier seemed more experienced, older, and incharge. plus I smiled alot and asked her how her day was.

Again, read the first two lines, glancing and you're getting a bit too personal about it. So what if I glance over what you write? If it's frustrating, I'd rather not take it in fully. I didn't insult you, I just stated it was a little rude to me.

I figured most people considered deals and sales to be different but that's not always the case. The live pack sale + coupon should work, if best buy adjusts the price on all the system and not just the site. It should work out okay since it's not a 3 day sale and since it's their weekly.

Got the GOW triple + Gears 3 preorder for $5 without a hitch. Turns out the game specialist at this store is a CAG + the store general manager (I think) just gets it. Game specialist went out of his way to assist me even before we got in to CAG talk. Was a pleasure to meet both and restored my confidence in best buy.
I know exactly which store has my business. Not even going to mess around with the other best buys that I normally visit. And I don't mean just game purchases either.
BTW, it's Monroeville PA. In the area? Shop at that one.

Does the Xbox live start kit coupon stack with the 15% for 3 - 20% for 4 accessories sale? I think I read it in this thread or it's own thread but can't remember if it worked.

I had $15 in reward zone certs to burn, so went ahead and took advantage of the live starter deal. $32 was pretty good for this.

I tried last week with the DX11 and the coupon deal did not stack with the 20% off deal. I would assume that it would be the same thing with the starter kit

This months mag coupons weren't as "good" as last months but damn every coupon has stacked except the sims 1 & several have maxed out. This bodes well with all the upcoming games in the near future.

I just came back from BB store and tried. The 12m gold starter kit does NOT stack with 15/ 20% promotion for 3 or 4 accessories. The register accept either 20% off if you have 4 accessories, but not the cupon or is taking the cupon , but exclude the 20% promotion. It takes one promotion not both.

things do stack with the sales prices.just not with other "offers". yes the other 3 things came up as 15% off. either way the coupons have been great I have used 4 of them this month and will probably use a 5th on the xbox360 live deal

Did anyone get the Sept issue yet? I signed up in early July and checked today w/ CS who says they don't have my info yet. Doubt I'll get my issue on time at this rate.

Haven't gotten one yet, although she did word it "around August 6th, but no earlier than the 6th." So I guess it should be soon.

Enter the code into the box.

Edit: Wait, I'm thinking gamers cert, not coupon.

Just made my call to get back my GOW 10$, 1st attempt was a bust, but on my 2nd attempt I got customer relations and it was taken care off in a heartbeat.

My local store #153 refused to accept the $20 off coupon and only let the machine take off $10 on the gears triple pack. I called customer service and pointed out this issue and they helped resolve it in another manner to my unhappy satisfaction. But this is really sad that Best Buy cannot know their own policy on things such as coupons apply to sale items too.

Same thing happened to me today when I went to get the triple pack with gears3 pre order. The way he explained it to me was that the $20 coupon was taken off of the retail price of $30 thus making it $10. I wanted to argue, but getting the game for $10 isn't that bad and I wanted to see what was happening to other people on the forums. What did customer service offer you?
