(DEAD)Fred Meyer BOGO Sony Blu Ray (minus 2008 releases)

JLazzuri

CAGiversary!
Hi guys. Not sure how far Fred Meyer reaches across the country, so if it needs to be moved to regional deals, could a mod move it? Fred Meyer this week has BOGO on select Sony BluRay movies. Not sure their whole selection, but Casino Royale, Superbad, and Spiderman 3 are pictured. Also, on the cover of the electronics ad there is a $3 off coupon for dvds or video games. Not sure if it will combine deals, but worth a shot.

Okay, so I went earlier and this is the first time since that I've been near a computer. It must have the Sony logo on the back of the disc.

It will typically be on the bottom right hand corner on the back of the disc. The movie also must not have been released this year (2008) which doesn't really eliminate anything except maybe Resident Evil Extinction or Dragon Wars. I went today and after tax I picked up Casino Royale, Spiderman 3, Fifth Element (RE), and Hellboy for $57 and some change. I did ring them up seperately just to make sure to maximize the discount. The selection at the South Hill store was not that great, but it's not a bad deal if there are two that you want. The clerk did make sure to mention that the Spiderman trilogy would work for the deal, but there wasn't anything close to the $69.99 tag to make it worthwhile. Hope this helps anyone/everyone out.

edit: sorry for the HUGE logo, couldn't find a smaller one real quick. If anyone else has a link they could PM me that would be awesome.

They're nationwide, but randomly spread around like Fry's. I might have to check it out to see if there is anything good to be had.

They are primarily in the Pacific Northwest and are now part of the Kroger company.

Anyway, thanks for the heads-up, I'll be heading up there later today, might have to pick up Superbad.

Don't forget that Superbad also stacks with the B2G1 direct from Sony. Could essentially get B1G2 here.

Is there any mention of this on their website? I cannot seem to find any info on this offer.

Please send a link if anyone finds it. Thanks.

Hopefully that works for you. If not, look in the middle of the main page. You'll see a heading of "Other links." Click view our weekly ad and then type in your zip code for the ones closest to you and then it's in the electronics ad. Hope this helps.

thanks. I found it after entering seattle, wa since there are none here in nyc.

it seems the prices are different online. anyone know if we can utilize the bogo deal online with this retailer?

I wouldn't buy on their site, those prices suck!! But in answer to your question, it didn't work for me online I just tried it to see.

I'll be checking out my local Fred Meyer today. At 29.99, buy one get one free, unless you're picking up a compilation on sale, like Spider-Man Trilogy for 50 at Best Buy, this is a killer deal.

I can confirm that the $3 coupon in their weekly ad can be stacked with this offer. Just went to the store on Thor in Spokane and they honored the coupon. The cashier was hesitant at first but he asked his buddy behind the counter and the other guy said that the coupon was still valid since Blu-ray discs are still considered DVDs. Just to let you know they had about 12-15 movies to choose from off the list. Can anyone confirm if this deal will work with the Sony B2G1 deal? Since the receipt only shows the price of one movie I'm hesitant about hacking up my cases to take advantage of that offer.

This deal is back on at my local Fred Meyer.. Just a heads up. 2008 titles do apply now, as We Own The Night was one of the ones in the stand. ^.^
