[DEAD] Get a new Okami cover! Two custom ones and the original available

Thought I should inform everyone, this art redemption offer is over/dead. The pictures are still available to download (in .pdf format) on the website linked to in the first post, but we can no longer order them.

EDIT: As for receiving them, the site states that for those who ordered a cover, they will be notified by e-mail as to when we can expect the covers to be shipped.

I wanted to give you all an update regarding the special covers for Okami.
First off, thanks to all who submitted. Your love of Okami is apparent by the flood of requests for the new covers. Interest was spread across all three options fairly evenly, and some folks even submitted three times to try and get all the covers.
Because of the sheer number of entries, repeats and foriegn entries the list has taken awhile to collect. Those who submitted multiple times were reduced to one. Those who submitted from outside the US and Canada were removed entirely (sorry!).
Our hard-working staff is almost done and we'll be sending out the confirmation emails next week with art arriving in your mail shortly after. As a special bonus, the art will actually be double sided with the original Wii cover artwork on one side and the new piece of art on the other. Two for one is how we like to do things at Capcom.
For those who missed the opportunity, you can still download high quality versions of the special covers at http://www.capcom.com/artredemption/. Also, don't forget about all the amazing artwork at http://www.artofokami.com. If you don't have a color printer, your local copy shop will print it for you for about 50 cents.

Excellent. I'm really happy they decided to make it double sided. I wonder what they'll do with people that asked for the original cover art though, just have a random art on the other side?

Edit: And now looking at the link, I see that the first comment is the exact same question basically.
 
Damn, I was hoping it was bumped because somebody got theirs, still waiting on mine. I kinda given up expecting it now, if it comes it comes, if not oh well.
 
The reason I submitted three times was because they didn't send me an e-mail back the first two times. Bah.
 
It seems they still plan to send these out. Here's the latest update:

Well, it's been a long slog, but we're there. Any day now, those of you who properly filled out the form should be getting your new covers in the mail. The printer is in the process of sending out nearly 18,000 of them via bulk mail, but rest assured they're on their way! Here's a quick FAQ of questions I'm asking myself, since none of you can talk to me a the moment.

1. Did I just say covers? Yup. Since fulfillment took so long, everybody is getting two new coversheets. Each cover sheet features the cleaned cover art on one side, and the two different new designs on the other. That's right, everyone is getting all three covers for the price of... well, none!

2. Did Capcom send out confirmation emails? Nope. Part of the problem with the lists was technical and we were unable to send out confirmation emails. As long as you completely filled out the form, and live in the US or Canada, you're getting the covers. One mailing per household, so those of you who signed up multiple times are only getting one set.

3. What took so long? In a word, Ninjas. The rumors are true, every Japanese company has its own cadre of elite ninja assassins. Unfortunately, Capcom has recently thrown in with their mortal enemies, the Pirates, in the form of Age of Booty. Ever since we announced that title, the ninjas have been nothing but trouble. The number of death traps around the office has skyrocketed.

4. Can I still get the covers? Yes, you can! But you'll have to use your color printer or find a Kinko's that will charge you about 50 cents. Hi Res versions of the new covers can still be found here: http://www.capcom.com/artredemption/

On the one occasion where someone did notice, he just showed me how properly do it. He said, "I can't do it for you, but I can show how to do it. Whatever you do after that is not our responsibility." :)

Apparently, it's on the way to your house. Unfortunately, the covers are probably being sent using the cheapest method possible. I don't blame them, but the items are going to take a while to get to your location.
 
Just thought I'd let you all know that I received my Okami covers today. Though I only ordered the pink one, I got one copy of the pink one, and one copy of the green one, both with the original "fixed" cover on the back.

If anyone's interested, I'll get some scans of it up when I have the time.

Wow! Capcom finally mailed them out like 10 months later!

Can't wait for mine...
 
received mine today, even though i didnt buy the game.
(I will just put this in a blinder cover sleeve)
whoever did bought the game probably traded away or locked in some collection.
 
Got mine...I don't even have a Wii or own the game...signed up because I had the intention of buying it at the time. They make for cool lithographs though :D
 
I sent for this and got their email when I did sent it so hopefully I'll be getting the cover art anyday now since you guys are getting it hopefully I get this in this week or next week anyways thanks alot for posting pictures of it nice boxarts.

I got mine but I only received 2 of the blue covers with the Wii logo on it boo. I wanted either of the other ones to replace my PS2 cover but oh well, free is free amirite?
