Only the Cobalt is listed as $49.99 and I just ordered one so I know it is back in stock. This deal was over at VG a few days ago but thought they had ran out, but apparently they didn't.

As of 7:00 PM EDT 9/29 this deal is back in stock and had 20 left. As of 8:15 EDT, 11 are left.

** Update 3 **

As of 8:45 PM EDT Several CAG'rs have found a way to get this GBA SP. Basically add the item to the wish list, then return to cart and you can add it. I'm not sure if this will work or not, but it then allows you to purchase one. I doubt anyone will get this order, as the first 2 times I tried, there were over 30 left in stock but both times I got cancellation letters.

Heh at $50 it could be my official color too. Im proud of myself though I showed restraint any GBA games I get I can play on my player for the cube. I wouldn't use a SP enough even at that price even though its a darn good one

Add 100 copies to your cart. If they have less it'll max out at the number available in stock.

The EBGames method is to key in a quantity of 99 to see how many they have in stock. It will lower the quantity in your cart if you go too high.
 
I tried that method before , but I never had to use it again for anything. If I don't get this for myself, I am definetly getting it for someone as a gift. This is too good an offer not to pass up.

Yep, me too. I emailed and asked them to send the Platinum instead. Who knows if they'll do it. It doesn't seem unreasonable, especially since they don't allow you to cancel orders, yet they feel free to do so.

I called 3 different times to 3 different people to ask why this got canceled and they just have a thing on their computer that says unavailable. They will not honor the same price for the other 3 colored GBA SP's and they won't even sent out a coupon for my troubles. Even worstbuy sents out a 10% Coupon. No wonder I stopped shopping at KMart years and years ago....
 
Just got off the phone with kmart.com, TOTAL waste of time. Basically lots of excuses for selling an item that they didn't have enough of, but no action. No go on a color substitution. No discount on an in-store item either. Apparently their policy states that once you place an order they have 2-3 days to confirm that it's actually in stock. Her closing advice: keep shopping online, it may come back in stock. :?

Wait, that can't be right. I checked my order this afternoon and it clearly stated the the items I ordered had been found and were being prepared for shipment. It can't be because they're out of stock or unavailable.

Edit: I just checked my order. It shows as being...
"Item(s) located in stock The items that you selected and submitted with your order during checkout are available and have been located in our warehouse."
I did receive the cancellation email. But it shouldn't be because it's out of stock unless they made an error in processing. Because they confirmed it was in stock.

My order still says "Item(s) located in stock," but the rep said it had been cancelled. I guess there's still a slim chance it'll show up, but I have a feeling their system's just slow.

I hope they know they crushed the hopes of an 8 yr old boy since I was buying this for my nephew for his birthday!!
 
Strange thing on a price seatch BB online had it showing up as $49.99 so I clicked on it thinking "OH YES! I'll get mine then pass the deal on" well when the page loaded it was Madden 2005 for the GC :shock: huh? wha? After a search I noticed they didnt even have the system on their site at all WTF? is this all DS craziness? :lol: (If you dont know what I mean I mean are they trying to get rid of them before the DS comes out but for some reason the price was too low or something? ah I'm thinking to much) :p
 
Amazon does that all the time on price searches. They'll list the lowes price. Then really it's used or new from one of their "third world" sellers.

By the way, not only didn't my order go through, but now I lost the $5 gift card I used on the purchase. I sent them an email that was polite but clear that I was disgruntled over the cancellation and I expect a five dollar goft card to replace the one I lost.

Update: I got a response to the email I sent K-Mart this afternon. It was polite but firm in expressing my disatifaction with K-mart.com. Well, I guess that their customer service dept didn;t want to touch it with a ten foot pole. Their response...

"In reference to your e-mail, please contact our Customer Support at
1-866-562-7848, for further assistance."

I'll give them a call tomorrow and hope I have better results. I would recommend that if you're disappointed that you give them a call too.
 
Well, I just called and they're going to replace my gift card. The customer service rep was very apologetic on the phone. Thoguth I didn't get any bonus for my troubles.

According to him they had such limited quantities that the GBA was probably pulled before they got to my order. They could have had just one or two sitting on the shelves. So only a couple people might have got in on this.
 
After this fiasco... I'm going to wait to get the Pearl White one at Circuit City. Hopefully they'll have a thanksgiving promotion with a free game or something.
 
Sure, what the heck? I just ordered one. We'll see. No big if they do cancel it. I already have two for the kids bday's unopened. I can always return them if this comes through.
 
i just went through the process of ordering one but stoped at the credit card phase beucase i dont need another, seems like it works though. go for it CAG's!

Well, as of 9/29 8:15 PM EDT, there are 10 left. As I said before, this page should be bookmarked because this periodically comes back into stock. But not many at a time. Hopefully this order will go through, as this would be my 3rd try.

It wouldn't let me put one in the cart but did let me add it to the wishlist. Then it allowed me to immediately shift it from the wish list to the cart and buy it. Can only wonder now how that will work out.

I'll likely trade in my original GBA. Will any place also give credit for the rechargable battery pack that also makes it handle more like a Playstation controller? Every little bit counts.
